Well maybe practice days could be different days. How about monday and tuesday?
Also we could have casual guys who play every two weeks, but that depends on how many we get that will be fully committed.
Remember we can only have 12 players in the DGL league, so full committed people must take precedence.

+1

We have 11 on the list so far including me who is partial, and excluding Dryman who is probably ready to rumble.
Agreed however, should there someone else who is fully committed, they must take my place.. It hurts to say that, but it is what it is.
(just to clarify, I am not stopping gaming by any means, I just cannot be as srs about it anymore, irrespective of the days)

To further complicate matters, there are some additional rules surrounding transfers. Taken from the DGL rules page(http://gaming.do.co.za/helpdesk/index.php?/Knowledgebase/Article/View/59/28/general-league-rules):
Given that we're now moving into the first division, we need to maintain 7 of our players as 'Core'. Also, any non 'Core' players that participated in the play-offs must be included in the roster.
Not sure who our 'Core' players are? Is that defined somewhere in our DGL clan page? There is a split between 'players' and 'reserves', would that be the indicator?
If so then I think that the requirement is that 7 of the team from the last leg that were marked as 'player' must remain in the team for leg three. Also, any players marked as reserve in the last leg that played in the playoffs must remain in the team for leg 3.
Our current team is listed as follows:

[h=3]Team Line-ups and Roster Locks[/h]Team captains are not permitted to change their team line-up during competition legs. Exceptions to this rule apply during the "transfer window", where roster locks will be lifted so that they may modify their line-up. Do Gaming may block a player transfer if it deems such action necessary.
Teams will be considered "hi-jacked" when too many players have been changed in a single leg. To police this, the team must at all times contain a certain number of “Core players”. The number of core players differs between games and divisions so please see the Core Players Section further down this page for more information. The “Core Players” are legal players who were part of the team on the DGL site during the previous leg of the competition.
Hi-jacked teams will lose what ever progress they made in the previous leg and start fresh from the beginning.
If the DGL find a team does not have the minimum number of core players, the team will forfeit all of its matches until the next transfer window. Teams can check their line-up history on the Do Gaming Knowledgebase to ensure they are still within the rules.
The DGL may give special permission to made additional changes if a team is in dire need of it. Making changes to a team’s line-up is not a quick & easy process for the admin team to perform. Please do not make the request unless your team’s survival is at risk.
Teams who wish to change their name or transfer to another clan may only do so between two legs. Teams must notify the admin team via the helpdesk of all changes they are making. Include the old line-up, new line-up, old name, new name and any other information you feel will be helpful.
[h=3]Core Players[/h]Premier and First Division:Second Division and below
- Counter-Strike:GO : 5 players (of 8).
- Call of Duty 4 : 5 Players (of 8).
- Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 : 5 Players (of 8).
- Battlefield 3 : 7 Players (of 12)
- DOTA 2: 5 Players (of 8)
- Counter-Strike:GO : 4 players (of 8).

- Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 : 4 Players (of 8).

Playoffs
As the playoffs are during a transfer period, teams may not add temporary/substitute players to the line-ups in an attempt to exploit the rules. Players who do not form part of the group of "Core Players" who play in the Playoffs must remain in the team's line-up until the next mid-leg transfer window. The DGL will penalise teams who are found to have exploited the line-up rules during the playoffs.

Woot training break. I saw this Jarrod and we will be fine, basically all it means is that in order to stay in 1st div we need 7 people who played in the play offs to be part of Leg3
I know I said the slate is wiped clean but I am pretty sure 7 people who played in the playoffs would be committed and are part of the team Hubris/Myself would select from the committed players.

Yeah, it has nothing to do with who is listed as player or reserve, it is simply a rule to ensure that a team that plays in leg 1 for example and makes it into the premiership for Leg 2 doesn't swap out 10 of its 12 players to make a completely different team for the next leg. Basically for BF3 it means that you can only change 5 of your 12 listed players in between legs (yes, I said 'in between legs' lol).
