Seems like there is a lag problem on SSG, hopefully it is sorted before our match but I think we should book another server as well incase we get lagg on the one that is currently booked

Re: Grrr v FIB Sunday 6th May
Nice games team, very good use of the players on each map. Call outs are near perfect now, most impressive is the reactive game, people spawning on flags and moving around to be placed were they are needed most. It's taken tons of hard work to get here and I think with more practice and teamwork you guys are looking a long line of possible wins.
Really seems like the teamwork has gone from level womble to level Seal Team Six.
Try get at least one 8vs8 game and one squad rush practice in before the next game.
Also try get two more maps locked down and don't discount the infy maps, I think you have solid infy skills and just need some solid maptime to bring them together.

Great games, thanks guys. We came out firing and our game was up to speed. We had armour and air superiority, which was an awesome support to the troops. As Miles says the adaptive play is what made it for us. Everyone was aware of where they needed to be and what our objective was. Much better communication. Lets keep it up chaps and ladies!
We'll continue with some squad rush on Tuesday, then a Seine standoff match and some armour/anti-armour work. Our next game is against some older COD players, should give us a good run for our money. Lets keep the focus on our fundamentals, going out there to avoid losing. We know we have the firepower to step it up and take opportunities, so lets just turtle up until we force them.
GG everyone! Top drawer stuff.

Re: Grrr v FIB Sunday 6th May
So stoked about last nights game. Miles summed it up perfectly "Winning is fun" , when things go your way this game ain't so difficult but I did learn some thing last night
* Moving from flag to flag or rather knowing when to give up a flag is crucial, rather give them a flag where they have committed 3 guys and tank than try defend it and possible lose it.
* Specifically on Davamand, they tried our old tactic of keeping the tank back and that clearerly didn't work. For Davamand, the key is a hard push to B with the tank and as many troops as possible.
* Using the "spares" was key, I think this is what made us win. If you died and a flag needed cover then there were people available, however, these people then went and regrouped with their squad once every thing was secure.
*Unless you are totally dominating a team, a match is won or lost in key moments. Taking advantage of these moments is what makes you win e.g. Phatso stealing their armour. Hubris knowing their tank was down and destroying it as it spawned. We all need to learn to recognise these.
I want to make special mention because I know it was a team effort but there were some stand out moments/players.
*Hubris - Your tanking was superb last night
*Phatso - On Davamand I don't know if we could have won without you in the AIR
*Dryman - DOMINATING!!!
And personally, U2M saved my bacon a couple of times on Sienne

I think we also need a prac match maybe try organise against SSG or RFH.
So Tuesday we do internal Rush and Armour prac then Wednesday we have a prac match.
Tyger, I would also suggest we get the times set up and ask if they want to do the elimination before the night. My feelings on eliminations is that it is redundant winning the knife fight, both teams eliminate the same amount of maps. Losing actually is better because you get to choose the start side.
I would say we do
Map1 -Sienne

Re: Grrr v FIB Sunday 6th May
For me, the most impressive thing was our (sudden) amazing adapting, ability to quickly create, jump swop squad, abandon defense on flags to move to higher priority flags, take up defenses and MOST IMPORTANTLY knowing where they would try sneak....experience with losing has provided us with uniquely strong tools of knowing where they were and how to counter their movements.
Big ups to the shift in mentality of "I need to be told what to do" to the most important "I need to do without being told" <-- this is our game changer.
Special mention to Mark on Seine, without his astounding ability to take and hold his position at "D", I think it would have been a very different game
*Mark - MVP on SIENE
*PHATSO - MVP on VANDAM

Guys great games last night!
U2 was the hero of the infantry squad at siene. We had a spawn point all the time! it was amazing. Allowed us to take flag back and push on others.
The SSG trick through hotel onto D is a must. Also in terms of D clinic is a must!
Damvand, phatty great game i think they only got you once in the chopper, otherwise we had a spawn on their back flag ready to go, was great.
Dryman... WTF i was running to help you and i get there and everyone was dead! Great game.
Hubris brilliant tanking, which also mean paul and cronos must of been spannering like well spanners!
Slippy and onny great reacting. Slippy loved the way i said go here you went there and did what was need every time!
In all nice game.
We need to work a bit on not rushing to much once we in position, and still prac our rocket strikes on tanks.

Hi Guys
I must be honest after last night and reading all your kind praises for your team mates I have goosebumps.
I missed this type of camaraderie especially from a competitive point of view and it reminds me of my Merc, BFB and BBH days when we took on the likes of you girls and us always knowing that you guys should never be underestimated as when firing on all pistons like last night you could take on the best of them.
Our win last night was the same for me as the moment I took down Vermaak in the final at rage (many moons ago). Absolutely awesome.
I am glad to see my old BF2 buddies getting back to their former selves. Keep it up I am very proud of you guys.
