1Mbps vs 4Mbps with BF3/Gaming?

I am fine.
Anyone played BF3 on both 1Mbps and 4+Mbps and can comment on whether they felt a difference?
Reason being, I am considering going from 4Mbps capped to 1Mbps uncapped (mweb) and wondering if I will feel a difference in FPS gaming.

I run a 4Mb line in Cpt and a 1Mb line in Jozi. Gaming is pretty much the same on both (I'm equally shit).

I can't give you a comparison but I am running on 1MB and I have no problems other than having to wait about 4 hours for the patch to download

I would however ask how much data cap you need? You surely don't need it to download series/movies, I can get most of the stuff you may want off the WUG. Although, maybe it's your midget porn collection you're wanting to beef up on?

WebAfrica have a pretty good 50GB package, for R400. I would've thought that would be enough data for you?

My current package includes:
4Mbps line at R359pm
2GB from Afrihost at R29pm
2GB from WebA at R39pm

I have small caps cos I am away a lot and I normally top up a bit when I return and that would be fine except that every time I get back, I spend the first 2 days downloading patches for Windows, Steam, Origin, BF3, AntiVirus, Web browsers, Office, etc etc etc on both laptop and PC . I end up having to buy more cap to game/surf. Also have 2 others using the web.

Prices for 1Mbps line and Mweb Uncapped = R548. Might even drop slightly if these IPC cuts are passed on to consumers so uncapped is starting to make sense for my needs.
