Just wanna fess up and admit I encourage Hubris to play Metro. I feel I had a good reason for this. BF3 8 vs 8 format is heavily biased to infantry type games. When I get more free time I will post map overviews with lists of vehicles per spawn. I saw how the team could play in a map like Bazaar, doing very well in the B alley area and I wanted to change the belief that Grrr is a BF2 team that does well in BF3 on maps that have vehicles.

To succeed in BF3 a team needs to have very strong infantary skills & tactics. I think individualy they exist, I think when they come to the fore as a team it works well. Just need to spend more time doing it as a team.

Well, the fundamental mistake was leaving murgs and I out of the lineup...

From an outsider's point of view, I see a recurring theme about being 'taken out from behind'. I think once the squad is chosen ya'll need to actually discuss who is going to be the man at point and who will be watching the rear. Its not something that can be taken for granted and its not natural to most players. From my experience, most people tend to look forward towards the point they are attacking. /2c
