Blizzard has a BETA sign-up program which you "opt-in" for, but realistically have a minuscule chance of actually being accepted into.
Their first 3 BETA invite waves were sent out to US Blizzard account members only (yes, blizz is actually split up into various zones their gamerbase is so big.. also servers etc). If I recall, they send out something tiny like 3000 BETA invites per wave. Blizzards total account base, of which majority are eligible, is 15+ million big. Do the math.

Over and above this, there were heaps of contests (with probably as many entrants) all over the world (SA included as per this thread) that I entered. All without success.

So today Blizzard started sending out BETA invites to EU account members (I am one). I am guessing only a handful of profiles got selected.

What I am getting at is saying thank you for helping me out guys.. But from here on out, should you win in the Megarom competition, you can do as you wish with that key. I would suggest giving it to a grrrbian that is keen to try out the Diablo 3 BETA.

If my life actually permits me to play (which i will make time for baby), expect me to post some screenies and vids in the future.
