Post game summary: DGL: Grrr Baggers VS BUD BBX (Grrr wins)

Thanks for all the info. I urge you all to read eachothers posts in the debrief. I really want to watch some footage of the APC squads game but from what you have said and the vids I have seen here is the debrief. A lot of what I am going to say you all know or have said yourselves in the debrief, I just want to consolidate the main points, you can then come up with ways of resolving weaknesses and improving on strenghts.

Negatives:

The call outs are not good enough. It will come with time but is really messy right now, when you do call out there is too much info that does not have enough of the needed detail. Get area names agreed on and use them. Every single time you get pushed back or loose a bunch of points there is confusion as to exactly what is going on.

C Squad:

You need to work more on helping hold A or C flags and supporting B Squad.

B Sqaud:

You tend to bunch up. You get easily distraced and are making dumb mistakes, slow down a bit, you guys are the axis of this team. If you are spinning out or rushing the rest of the team will too.

APC or A squad:

I am a bit worried about you guys I really need to see some footage but from what little I saw and what I can hear there is discord in this squad. First up lets be honest you three have a kuk job, you just gotta accept this and get on with it. You will get run over, you will get killed because your engineers are dead or out of position, you are going to have a hard time no matter what. If any of you hate what you are doing chat to your leader and try get another position, nothing wrong with moving out of a squad. I know that sounds harsh but this is the "negatives section. I am doing positives next so stick around.

Positives:

APC or A squad:

See what I did there :) You guy have the skill to make this a killer squad, you have the intention and know what is needed . Just remember you are the backbone of this team, if you play the way you should even on infantary only maps you will be the reason the team gets huge point leads. Dont let the other squads push you around, when you take control, things go really well. I think you learnt tons over the last two games and am looking foward to seeing a huge spike in skill over the coming weeks.

B Sqaud:

You guys play a great game but could do even better, there is not much room for error in B squad and I think you saw that, the other teams reply on you three to keep a cool head. Keep the bleed on and keep the kills up, you know what to do to improve on this. Just dont forget that A & C squads need direction from you, sounds corny but help them help you! :blahblah:

C Squad:

I think this setup worked, you need more time in this role but if you improve on what you did in this game then you will be the reason this team wins consistently.

Suggestions:

APC or A squad:

Keep at it, get the inter clan 4 vs 4 practice on, your teamies need to see how crappy your job is, you need to work on the whole APC positoin, shooting RPG's & repairing thing and you will be sorted, of all the team you actually have the least to work on. It's just timing and communication thing.

B Sqaud:

Just play more games as a team, in Pub and practice. Work on call outs and positions, like A squad you just need to get the communication and timing sorted.

C Squad:

Lots of potential here. Get in the pub servers and work on playing as a team. The more time you get in this role the more comfortable you will be.

"too long; didn't read"

Communication & call outs is were you all fail consitently. You need to know the names of key areas in each map and use them. Stop saying back flag, its either A or C!. You get confused because you are not passing info on in a clear precise manner. When you do well, you do really well. When you do bad its your own fault and you fall apart, this is your biggest weakness. As a team you are self aware of your faults, you have good suggestions on what to work on and improve. Good news is that these things are easy to fix, at least you can aim and use the weapons, you understand the game dynamics and are clearly a close team. Just try take the race horse blinkers off. Step back have a look around, see how each teamies actions affect the others, see how yours affect them.

I think thats it for this map & game, let me know if you want help with the next one. The deep team analysis is done. If you want to continue we can work on basic strats per map, do short debriefings after and leave it at that.

Oh and keep working on the videos, you learn tons from watching them!
