Re: Group A
A look at our competing teams in group A:
1. Electronic Special Weapons And Tactics ESWΛTBF3
Many of their players are old, as in over 40. The ones I know are all older guys, who's have never really troubled me on the battlefield.
However it seems they do have some young guns.
How to beat them: Not sure yet, will need more info on the players. I think a good strat that we execute accurately will do the job. Also them being older means reaction times will be slower so a map where the action is fast paced will suite us best against them.
2. Blowupdoll []=BUD BBX
Well its Bud. We all played against bud in previous leagues, they are a relaxed clan, but no push over. This however is their second team and i don't recognise any of them. Considering I think we would beat the bud first team I am sure we can take them.
How to beat them: More info needed. A well organised start should beat them.
3. Super Serial Gamers [SSG] Packet Loss
SSG's second team, we know them played them a few times now. They will feel confident having won these warm up games. The team also has a number of players who used to be in their first team, so they will be tough.
How to Beat them: We need to be well drilled and very accurate. We can beat them on the ground, and in armour. We must get the co-ordination between the two working right to do it.
4. First in Battle lFiBlTerra
FIB's first team. We all know the story with them. Its quite a different team to that of the past, with lots of youngsters. They will be very well well drilled, plus they now have fast paced reaction players that will make them very hard to beat.
How to beat them: Practice practice practice, drill drill drill. We need to know what we are doing like the back of our hand to take them on. If we do that we have the players and the skil to beat them. Really we do.
Lets put in the work to do it!
5. Assualt Ready Σnforced Squads ARΣSExpect No Mercy
They competed in the comp to see who goes into the clanbase nations int comp. They have a number of very good players. There aim and reactions are going to be tough to compete with. They do lack BF experience.
How to beat them: Need more info, but i have a feeling a brute force approach will work against them. They will rely on their aim and skills to hold of areas. If we attack in force they wont stand a chance.
6. Advanced Special Forces =ASF=AquilA
ASF's first team...Deo and the boys. Deo is captain, played with Deo a lot, he is very good player. But he hates to be put under pressure. ASF have a number of good players, and they will be very well drilled.
How to beat them: Same as FiB preparation is key. But I would also say doing thing out of the ordinary will catch them napping. As i think they will rely very heavily on their pre-made plans. We can match them on all fronts I think.
Thats it. Add you bit guys if you find out more, or have some idea's.

Re: Group A
Order Of play:
Week 1 : Blowupdoll []=BUD BBX
Week 2: Electronic Special Weapons And Tactics ESWΛTBF3
Week 3: Advanced Special Forces =ASF=AquilA
Week 4: Assualt Ready Σnforced Squads ARΣSExpect No Mercy
Week 5: Week Off
Week 6: First in Battle lFiBlTerra
Week 7: Super Serial Gamers [SSG] Packet Loss
So not to bad. We have out 2 easiest games the first 2 weeks.
Then we have ASF, which is gone be tough, followed by another tough game.
Then we have 2 weeks to prepare for FiB, we must use all of this time.
Then we end off with our noob brethren the SSG bunch, we must punish them!

Re: Group A
Good analysis
I think that with hard work there are 4 games we should win, that includes SSG, yes they beat us but it wasn't because they were better, just that we weren't as prepared. IF we are prepared then it would definitely be atleast a 50/50 chance if not more in our favour.
That will leave 2 games FiB and ASF that will require an even bigger effort but if we just take each game as it comes and prepare as if it is the most important game of our life, we will do very well in the group

From the darkness you must fall
Failed and weak, to darkness all.
Re: Group A
Arranging with BUD I will update when we finalise. Thanks for the analysis Tyger very good.
I think its encouraging, we have a tough group but really we stand a very good chance of competing for the top spots.
IF we get our act together, but I'm confident we will. I was really pleased with the vibe last night.

Re: Group A
Good prac last night guys, defnitely a step in the right direction.
Only thing I would caution against is info overload. We all have opinions/ideas (some are even good) but if we all scream at once it gets lost.
So I propose for the next sessions Hubris does all the talking, if you want to challenge his idea or suggest/point something out then ask for permission to talk (not like in school or anything), just so that 1 person is talking at a time and everyone can digest what is being said.
I know it might seem a bit anal but it will help ensure we maximise our time at prac as there should be no confusion and repeating.
Now that is out of the way,we don't have a match on Sunday but I hope by then we have the BUD game details sorted out so we can run through strats and some squad on squad action in pre for the game, then we can use the following sunday to brush up before the match

Re: Group A
I think for the BUD game, we should PLAN A and PLAN B the map selection..... we're assuming Grand Baz, but there may be unforseen circumstancesthat result in us having to play a different map. . . we should practice a PLAN B map the same way we did last nights prac. just my 2c
