Yea look not bad last night.
I think the main issues are that its early days, we still learning what tactics are the most effective on what map.

Grand Bazaar:
First round was good. But i think only because they kept bleeding their tickets on us trying to get B. That and out APC was effective in that round.
We weren't required to adapt that much in the round.
Second round. Our apc got taken out to easily to often, this made the difference. Their apc was always up, and it made it a huge problem for us to get out back flkag back, this also made us week in the centre and they could attack.
I still think that on this map, staying to the outside and pressing them to the middle is more effective, it gives more options. Only take B if we already in there.

Sien: Well main problem was the the tank, it owned us. We need to to rememberer back to BF2 days when that was the case. A concerted all squad effort is required to hunt ambush and take out the tank. On this map it is a must!
As far as flags, D and A both these flags are hard to assault and take, they are also hard to defend. From what i have seen these two are the flags where the most tickets are bled. I think the approach for D, once taken 2 guys can defend it fair successfully, as long as they watch the right routes. If the flag is lost it requires at least a full squad to take it back. A the flag is almost impossible to defend effectively. Against one or 2 yes, against a concerted attack no. I would approach this flag in future as something that you take and defend the routes to it from a distance. If you have to assault it, it requires almost a full team assault.
I think C and B speak for them selves. B is easy to defend, but hard to take. C is easy to defend and take.
For this map, full control of C is required, so we can control the middle of the map. Take C, watch towards D at least 2 players. One watching sneak stairs, one watching archway at back.
Then tank and roving squad assault and co-ordinate together.

My feedback. As always, nothing personal, just constructive. ALL OF THE BELOW APPLIES TO MYSELF TOO.
(i know its a wall of text, but please read it)

Grand Bazaar

Good
The first round, we did exactly what we planned to do, it worked and we played like machines. Communication was spot on, reviving was spot on, falling back to recap, cover defence, watching angles.. everything. That round was one of my best rounds I have had in a clan match. Besides the fact that I had a really good round (which I am proud of and need to learn to do ALL the time..), the entire team followed suit. We gelled like a well oiled engine and the results showed.

Bad
The second round, we tried the same tactic, and paid severely for it. We got boxed in on B and bled tickets like mad. Spawning+dying immediately happened to often and the more it happened, the more I feel we lost the plot a little bit. I would like to apologise for acting like an idiot and yelling a little bit. I get too emotionally involved at times and my judgement goes to ish. I just felt that we should have followed what we did in round 1 and when it didn’t work, we kind of lost the plot a bit. Our armor situation was a mess. Let’s put aside the fact that we had Cronos who doesn’t normally use armor and that SSG are shit-hot anti-tankers.. We never adjusted at all to this. The tank kept pushing and getting thumped, over and over. After Cronos’ plee’s and begging for help, we eventually spawned to assist the tank. At this point however, we lost B and I realized that attacking that flag (the shitty one where you need to cap in the open) was one of the most difficult things to do. We must take note of this. That flag is terrible to attack without coordination.

Seine Crossing

Good
I can’t really say to be honest. I guess adapting on the go was a good point. Most guys tried out kits they don’t really play with varying levels of success.. Our 1-on-1 skill is not the problem. Toe to toe (with exception of that Dup_za guy.. :O ) we matched them. The rest however..

Bad
Ouch. We really did get taught manners on this map. SSG knew exactly what to do, and did it damn well. I wouldn’t be surprised if this is due to them practicing the map to death. Their armor milked anything in its way. Our armor struggled. Again, (and I know I suggested this) Jono did what he could, but was outplayed. We really got disheartened and starting pissing tickets away. No communication, no objective and people throwing themselves into firefights over and over again. There were too many times where communication just died. Guys, 8 people talking in TS is not ideal. But it’s the way we play this game. It’s not BF2 where everything is crystal clear on the map / squad commands etc etc. We need to keep talking, ALL the time. If you can’t handle this, I think you need to adjust. At the most hectic of times, I can still hear every single person talking and I know EXACTLY what is happening on 90% of the map. This is critical to succeeding. When people keep quiet, it’s the complete opposite and I feel that this where shit just gets worse. The quieter we get, the more we do stupid things.

Me personally
I acted like a doos a few times last night. I get too competitive and if you guys heard what I was saying most of Seine Crossing you probably wouldn’t talk to me ever again. I apologise for this. I get too emotionally involved and am too competitive and HATE being on the receiving end. I will learn to control this anger and channel it into focus. I need to bite my lip a little more as I imagine that some of my chirps and unconstructive criticism was taken to heart. I also need to learn to put more time into other kits. I need to get proficient with every weapon in the game. There should never be a moment where I hesitate to spawn with a kit because I am uncomfortable with it. If you guys have any gripes with my gamestyle, or what I did right or wrong, please tell so I can learn to be better.

Overall notes
-A MASSIVE THANK YOU to the guys that filled in for us.
-I don’t know what all the reasons are for our usual players not pitching and I can only imagine that were multiple hectic personal situations that couldn’t be move around. Sorry if I am sounding insensitive here, but its just not on guys. Really it isn’t. I know that life throws curveballs at us and shit hits the fan more often than it can, but multiple of our usual guys not being available for a match that was booked a week in advance is going to be a hindrance in the season. Please can we all do whatever we can to improve this.
-It’s the end of the year and attendance can be attributed to this, but last night was important to me and the team. We needed to see what our potential competition was really like and playing against guys we didn’t know. We needed to learn the hard way, which we did.
-Sulking… Guys, I could often hear people lose morale last night. People would just stop talking and judging from their gameplay, stopped giving a shit. This happens to me too at times, but it needs to stop. If we are getting drilled, the WORST thing we can is sulk and lose interest. There are 7 other soldiers on the team that are dying to get back into the game and losing 1 guy because he feels like he is getting milked, really hurts the team.
-LEARN THE SPAWN POINTS. We really need to do this. On every map. How many times this happened last night: we’d get momentum and after a hard fight, beat the enemy squad. GG. We’d get to the flag that we were expecting to assault only for the 1 guy to spawn somewhere we weren’t watching and smash all of us. Bye bye 10 minutes of hard work to get to that flag.
-I chatted briefly to Surv0 after the game and he mentioned that we did play well and felt that at the end of the day, it came down to ticket bleed. Something positive to hear, but also something to take note of. You can kill 100 guys in a clan match, but if your team has less flags, you WILL lose. Ticket bleed guys, it’s what wins and loses games.

Phats you were at times negative during Seine but you also helped to motivate and direct our squad towards the end and that gave us direction.
Hubris you were excellent with assigning people to defend/attack/push in Bazaar but we (I did anyway) did need more vocal direction in Seine.
There are times when we need all 4 infantry assaulting a flag and there are times when we need to split into pairs. More chat on that required from everyone.
I noticed the infantry silently splitting up on Seine and going for different flags and had to choose who to follow. - Remember that if the Spawn on Squad leader setting is on, only the squad leader can spawn on you.

Thanks for the feedback Gents, keep it coming in if you havnt had a chance. I think we've raised some good points and I will apply my mind over the next week to getting us up a gear. Don't be suprised if I ask for your thoughts and ideas on revised strats. Let keep the public going and enjoy the end of year slow down.

Every 2nd week I work afternoon shift. This will happen every 2nd week for many years to come.
In the "sign" up post I did give notice of this.
I agree with u Phats. We need a committed team that can be there everytime!!

It might be best to move me out of the clannies(maybe a reserve) and give somebody a chance that can make practices and clannies every time.
