Howzit guys, so I managed to get the first map done (from the one end) and I thought I'd go ahead and post it to give you guys an idea of what I'm up to. I'll post a link to download the images from the grrr site when I've got the lot done. Should be tonight or tomorrow morning, they take a while! On this map and from this side we want C, D and A in that order. The Russian team definitely have the advantage on this map in terms of cover, height and routes if they can take and hold C early.

The idea is to hold them until we take out their tank, then strike A with our tank (our primary attack flag). D will be easily capped at start and B is assessed by the vanguard and harassed if the enemy tank is engaged elsewhere (dead, in battle with ours or pressuring C from A area). On start, one security player will spawn with mines, take D, secure our rear with mines and then defend C (and our tank / deployment area / D with mines) as required.

The patrol routes are intended to work together, so if they threaten D from B, the team pivots around and towards C to counter and vice versa. It's all about covering each other's flanks and taking our opportunities. My hope is that with practice and good communication this will become second nature and we can time attacks to pressure them from two or even three sides at once (classic bulls horns are always anchored by a static main body of defence that turns offensive to rout).

The tank plays a predominantly defensive role, by covering the approach from A to C (our priority defence flag) and B to D (if they figure out what we're up to). If the enemy tank is taken out and the vanguard are able to flank, we can hit them with the tank, the vanguard and increased pressure from C (thanks to the many strategic oversight positions for the support squad. If a squad is decimated or cannot hold, always fall back to C (or just behind it) to regroup.

The vanguard squad are represented by the A icon and their patrol route is marked in light blue.
The support squad are represented by the B icon and their patrol route is marked in light green.
The security squad are represented by the C icon and their patrol route is marked in light yellow.
