BF3 Resources

Post by TygerBS »

Please post any useful tools and info:

Resources:

Strats, and map info
http://randomnade.com/game/battlefield-3/strategies

Info on weapons and hit boxes
http://symthic.dy.fi/?s=bf3

Tools:

ACT (Advanced Tacticle Center)
A must have tool!
This is for planning and strategy. Its in valuable for explaining to a team what to do, and for planning with a team.
Download here: http://www.playprepared.com/
Then:
Download ATC, register and then start program.
Under "start Briefing" u see the "manage gamepacks" click it and after that chose Import and paste 4AVWGM as gamepack ID.

After that chose BF3 in menu and start.

P.S you only need to do the manage game packs if you are starting a session, not if you are joining one.

Phatso if you could do some home work on PROCON and let SHadey, Skoup and Hubris now how it works (the basics) that would be great.

We all know you have tons of time on your hands. I think it would be best if each Captain had access plus 1 additional member per team so that prac etc can be set up easy without the hassles we had this week.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA. You make me laugh noble leader.

In any case, I think I have got the basic functionality down (player limit starter, tk, FF, reg etc). Its quite easy. If you want to access the server, I would recommend Procon instead of other tools. While I like BF3CC, its too early in its developement for it to actually work nicely.

Procon has plugins which I am trying to wrap my head around. Things like bad-language-kickers, weapon limiters, auto-team-balancers etc etc. They seem to be VERY complicated though and I am going to need some time to work em out.

For the basics and practices however, I think I have it down. Will chat to whoever wants to know.
