Can not comment on the motherboard, I am an ASUS fan.

    CPU, yes upgrade that.

GPU, I would shop around a bit on that price. Consider 2nd hand GPU's as well.

RAM, that is 8GB ram in total?

    PSU, should be fine.

HDD, just don't get the green range, they are super kak.

Case, just built your own case, much easier, and looks a lot nicer.

Peripherals, could maybe shave a couple of rand here.

Scientific fact, dried testicles of rhino poachers can cure aids.

    Yeah 8gb in total.

The peripherals can change or be dropped as needed, they are only there right now because the budget allows.

I really don't like the idea of any second hand components, but will look at some other options.

Heres a build just using Wootware online -

    Product Aprox Price
    Intel i5-3470 3.2GHz Quad core 2440
    MSI H87M-E33 H87 1150
    G.Skill F3-1600C9D-8GAB 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3-1600MHz 1.5V CL9 1090
    Western Digital WD10EZRX Caviar Green 1TB 770
    PowerColor AXR9 270X 2GBD5-TDHE/OC TurboDuo Radeon R9 270X 2GB GDDR5 2400
CoolerMaster RC-K280-KKN1 K280 All Black USB3.0 ATX Desktop Chassis 520
    Corsair CP-9020051-WW VS650 650W 775
    Coolermaster SGB-3010-KKMF1 Devastator Blue LED Keyboard MB24 & Mouse MS2K Combo 440
    TOTAL 9585

Going through with Skoups and others with Dealer connections, likely to get things a lot cheaper, so could hit the sweet spot of just over R8k
I've only been wrong once, and that's when I thought I was wrong.

Thanks for the feedback, unfortunately the machine is needed quite urgently, so I havent been able to change it up too much.

Upgraded the CPU and downgraded GPU somewhat.

Happy with it for now, will definitely be upgrading it as finance allows.
