Very intense night and some very good rounds by everyone. I think we’re getting there, maybe not at the pace we’d like but we have improved a shitload since we started.
Please don’t read too deeply into my feedback here, it may look all negative but its just my POV.
Key points from my side:

Complete cluster-fuck.. Sorry gents, we didn’t know what hit us. Off the start, with our current strat - B is a key flag and we just didn’t commit enough troops to get it. On the one side (can’t recall US/RU) we should ALWAYS get to B flag first. Both of the rounds, we got their after them, and were met with massive resistance. We quickly were wiped out and were found wanting. We adapted well however and did what we could to regroup, but before we knew it, our back flag was capped too.
Most notably for me was on a separate occasion, one of the SSG players took out 5 of us within 2 minutes, slowly and concisely we fell. No one said anything about going down or where or who got them and thus we were easy cleaning up for the 1 troop. Once we got back to our feet, half their team was in B and drilled us hard. I raged a little here, and I have given it quite a bit of thought *(more on this a bit later).
We need to work on our opening move, whether we opt for an AT heavy start and try cap outside flags, or whether we commit 5 guys to get to flag B ASAP, these need to be drilled. One false move (“you drive, no you no you..”) means we’ve lost B off the start and are going to kak to get it back. Additionally, holding B flag. I don’t think we’ve done our homework enough for this (myself incl.) I thought I knew the spawn spots exactly, I don’t. We need to be able to hold B like bosses and make anyone who comes within eyesight pay dearly for trying.

Wow… Intense stuff to the max guys. We showed our metal here, we showed we had balls, and most of all, we showed that we have what it takes to come back from the deepest darkest depths and hand out a solid walloping. I won’t lie, I went into this map feeling like KAK after the prev rounds (I take things too seriously, I know… and I am working on it..) but after a while, I got a feeling that we knew that we were in kak, but had the balls to give it our all. One tiny mistake from SSG and some hardcore thinking from our players and we got the upper hand. Then we bled them for 100 tickets. Guys, to bleed ANY team by 100 tickets is a MONSTER feat. We did fucking well here. The moments of holding their back flag with hubris, dryman and tyger made my skin tingle with glee. The other squad held their tank and their entire team practically inside B flag. Unreal stuff guys. Our communication also got a lot better here. I don’t know if its because the mumble channels were muddled or because everyone was using the “shout” functionality of mmbl, but we knew what was going on, we knew what the plan was and we knew that it was going to be tough.. and we did it. Well done.
*Communication: I may be alone on this, but I have always felt that splitting the squads up across voip channels is not a good thing. The discipline needs to happen and we need to all be in the same channel I think. Something like Tyger shouting out an order to Dryman and myself and the rest of the team having knowledge of this means more coordination across more troops. 8 people knowing what 3 guys are doing is far better than only those 3 guys are doing. I don’t know if we need to do voip speaking practice, or if guys need to chill the fuck out, or if we need to make a demerit system, or if we need to record just voice and analyze who is saying what incorrectly but something needs to change with this. The nature of battlefield is that if you don’t know what is happening on the entire map, you may pay for it, and the only way for you to know is to have clear and solid communication. Not everyone has shout, and its not being used correctly in my opinion. If a squad member tells his squad leader “I just went down in hubbly”, the squad leader has to recognize what has been said, repeat it in shout channel or to other squad leaders, and the players that it affect need to realize that it affects them. I can’t explain it well, but you know what I mean. Its broken telephone and the SL’s working on other things and maybe not repeating the message in time etc.. I am open to debate this ad-nauseam as I feel its one of the few things holding us back now.
All in all, well done though guys. We showed massive guts and experience last night, something not all teams can do. Hooah!
