Okay boys and girls, it looks like we might just've broken through to summer here in Cape Town...

In honour of this, I fancy having you reprobates around for braai at my spot next weekend.

As an additional incentive, it's the currie cup final, and it'll be showing on the HDTV in the lounge. And if that's not enough, you and all drool over my new PC build, which should be largely completed by then (barring my usual ability to break things when I get excited).

So, who's keen? As usual, significant others are invited as long as they don't mind being ignored while we talk games all afternoon...

Oh, and Geg, your attendance is mandatory please. I need someone competent to man the braai (ruling out me and most of the other Capetonians except Christo). Bringing your own braai is however optional, you are more than welcome to use mine (I'll even buy the charcoal and firelighters ).

As for the non-Capies, you guys can just wash your hair on Saturday, see?

That sounds like a superb idea Greg. Let me know what you need in terms of ingredients and accompaniments, and I'll arrange.

Of course that does mean that we'll need to know who's coming well in advance - so that I know how much to buy.

On the 'healthy' point - Braai/potjie is not unhealthy in and of itself - it just depends on how much of it you eat, and what you wash it down with

I'll be there for the arvie, but got Mustyqueer's bday party in the evening, so prolly can't stay for the rugger. In light of this, you will all be required to bring an assortment of salty snacks for me to eat before I leave.

My nuts are salty.
