Hi guys

I am thinking of selling my Roccat Kaves. They are roughly a year old, but have very minimal use. The reasoning behind my sale is that they just don't sit properly on my head. I have a weird shaped head (like some of our clan members).
They have been gathering dust for a while now and I only actually want to sell them to a fellow clan-mate.

The sound quality is ridiculously good and if you like closed ear headphones, they completely block out the outside world. The speakers are 5.1's, which means that each headphone has 5 little speakers in it, as well as a mini-sub woofer I think (if you crank the bass up, you can actually feel it).

The headset goes for R699-00 @ Computers Only.co.za.
I am willing to part ways with em for R400 negotiable.

My set also doesn't fit right. Hurt after an hour use for the first week... then it was fine. Otherwise the Kave's are by far the best headset I've ever had. And you can feel the bass, that's for sure.

I use Sennheisers at work that blow the panties off the Roccats (I have used both). If you are looking for a new set, Phatty, try Sennheiser.

I just put them neatly back into their box so they lookbrand new .. I must say, I am stoked for you bud and happy they have a new home.
They look so slick in their box... (I even put the black nipple jack caps back on). Am sad they weren't for me

I didn't know that BOSE made 5.1 headphones. Do you have a model number or a link?

Not that I'm a big fan of BOSE equipment (I much prefer Sennheiser for headphones), but it would certainly be interesting to see a 5.1 set made by a recognised audio specialist company.

Got them at Incredible Corruptions MoerseStore in Clearwater mall, for about R1500.
I got them primarily for listening to music.

Thanks Jules, I'd like to check them out. If they are 5.1's though, I wouldn't have thought that they'd be best for listening to music. 5.1 headphones have much smaller drivers, so their sound reproduction often isn't the best (the reason why I don't use 5.1 headphones myself).
