Hi All,

It’s with a Heavy heart that I do this.
Let’s face it tho; this has been coming for some time (the last 2 years)

Changes in this clan (Cultural and manners wise) have been making it unbearable to stay.

Some of you will always be friends, but to some of you I don’t particularly bear any form of respect anymore.

I had though to give it some time, but frankly that wasn’t enough.
If I really do feel the need to be disrespected, ignored or just plainly treated like “crap” or being talked down to I will go to a working environment and not want to get it during my personal time.

For the most part I have been an active member and have tried to do a proper “job” of it when I was available, but due to me not being part of the “Mickey mouse club” I feel like a stranger in a place I have been part of for the better part of almost 7 years. Ridiculous isn’t it? Whether you think that what I am saying is the truth or not I don’t really care as I have not been the only member/ex-member to experience this.

I am not leaving to go to another clan but rather for the reason that I am just plain GATVOL.

Please remove my access as I won’t be needing it anymore…

Cmon, bro - none of us ACTUALLY feel that way. You're part of the family, if you don't feel that way - realise - that is YOUR feeling, something YOUVE created. We all welcome, share, enjoy everything together, whenever you are around and participate. You just have to ACTUALLY pitch up. ....

I don't know why people do this, but it is common, but I take it personally because I can see it being played out in their minds.

We all have a go at each other but one thing is for sure is that I know that it is never meant with any malice or harm.

Take me for example, I've been out of competitive play for over a year now even longer /Work/Life etc. Still does not change the way I feel about all the douche's in the clan!

I pitch up to chat and check what's been happening! If I say hi in the shout box and no one responds who cares? eventually I'll get someone to speak to me or berate me!

That's what families do they barely put up with each other! I think you should step back from the situation asses why your really feel like this and then take it from there. If I took knee jerk decisions every time I was upset with anyone in this clan I would have walked out the moment Candi came back! (see that it was a joke we do that sort of thing)

The sad thing is Ion we have no freaking clue what's been going on in your life cause you haven't let us know and then you getting upset with us because no one cares?

Take a step back think about it more openly and honestly with yourself.

Sorry to hear you feel that way. I'm new to the clan and have found it easy to get to know guys and stay up to date with things. Maybe that's because I'm playing bc2 alot and most guys are doing the same so we're always on ts etc.

What games are you playing? Maybe we can play together sometime soon? I think it could help in terms of that feeling of exclusion you're having. From what I can tell, you're a great guy and Grrr doesn't want to lose you. I really like being part of clan Grrr and I'm sure you're just a couple games away from feeling the same way.

Note for brains trust: maybe we should run a game matrix page where we can see who plays what, typically what nights/days and what compos are underway. That way we can better hook up with each other for games and kak talk on ts. Also, maybe we should have a weekly clan chat on ts to get everyone together and just talk about what is going on in our lives and with the clan. Just some arb thoughts...

Being gatvol I get, blaming the clan because you don't feel like you belong I don't get.
I am sure you have your reasons though and I can see you are going through a tough time.
You have put in a lot of time here Ion, and the entire clan would be relieved if you did reconsider and came back.

@ Lee, thanks for disrespecting me enough to compare me with someone else. As for Ig. I never spoke to him about what has been bothering me nor did I include him in this. However I am sure he appreciates your insult.... If me actually being online and trying to participate is excluding myself, gl with that! As for my reasons, you immediately assume I am doing something similar to what you have seen done before, but don't bother asking me for my reasons? Maybe I have valid reasons, but you wont know as you don't bother asking....

@Geth, I never blamed the clan. I am however blaming certain elements in the clan that helped me get to this point.

Ion you arent the only one to have quit along these lines. The only thing that I have seen in common with all those that quit is that they seemed to stop playing online. Maybe you can give us some insight into exactly whats wrong?

In my mind, players who play together a lot will always have a better relationship and understanding. Those who, for whatever reason, only play occasionally will always feel a bit out of it. This clan is built round mp computer games, built up by people who gave of their time and continue to do so. My impression (I may be wrong) is that those are less able/willing to put in time/contribute end up feeling marginalised. I'm trying to make sense of it but probably rambling on a nonsensical vane.

Maybe if you actually spell it out for us, tell us what is really bothering you, rather than just broadly saying that this clan sux to be a part, try explain it and yes, I do take the statement personally:

I'ven't seen ANYONE online - besides NoMad and Hubris for several months now, the odd person will log in, we'll play a game of bad company here and there maybe once a week.

Bottom line is that there is barely anyone around most of the time anyway.

Do you think we are having secret meetings or something?

All I'm asking for, is a bit of explaination, you're saying all these harsh things about us and immediately being guarded about any details. Please just be straight up with me, since, as you can clearly see by my posts, I'm being completely honest and straight up with you - no holds barred.
