Battlefield Bad Company 2 Rules (experimental/BETA Ruleset)
1.
Match Progression (Round-Robin)
Do Gaming will provide you with the name of your opponent and the map which is to be played. You must contact your opponent and make a match booking (see: Match Bookings). You will play each side of the map once (the team which booked the server decides which side to play first). Tickets are NOT counted - the only possible score outcomes are 2-0, 1-1, 0-2.
Once your players have arrived on the server, you should consult with your opponents as to whether they are ready to start. Players must then follow the process below and take the mandatory screenshots. At half-time, players must switch to the appropriate team, and the match begins again (according to the process below).
A team wins the round when their opponent's ticket count is depleted to zero. A team wins the match if they win both rounds.
2.
Starting the Match (at the beginning of each half)
The server admin must restart the map (all players will reload the map). DO NOT SPAWN:
* Divide into two squads (of 4 players) - do not spawn any players
* Only 1 (one) member from each squad may spawn - do not move
* Wait for all your players to load the map (and confirm with your squad that they are ready)
* Once all your team members are loaded, type "live" to your opponents in chat (try again if they dont respond)
* If you are ready and your opponents type "live", you must respond saying "live"
* When both teams type ready, you MUST TAKE A SCREENSHOT (clearly showing your radar)
* Once the screenshot is taken, your team members may immediately spawn and the game begins
Two players from each team must have screenshots that show 2 players in your base exactly where they spawned with both parties saying "live".
If you have more than 2 players spawned in your screenshot, your entire round is forfeit.
At half-time, this process must be repeated. Additionally, players from each team must take a screenshot of the half-time and full-time screen (where it says "you lose"/"you won").
The process is mandatory and spot-checks of screenshots will be done.
3.
Player Disconnects
If a player disconnects from the server after the game has begun, the player must attempt to rejoin whilst the match continues. In the event that the player is unable to rejoin, a reserve must be called in to play. Only reserves/substitutes registered on your team lineup are allowed to join the game. If a registered reserve cannot be contacted and your original player is unable to rejoin, the game must continue with as many players as you have available.
In the event of a server crash, players must reconnect within 10 minutes of the server restarting. The round that was underway must be replayed.
4.
Divisions/Seedings
As all teams are unseeded in Leg 1, pools will be randomly divided. At the end of Leg 1, teams will be seeded into divisions as follows:
* Premier League (#1 & #2 from each group)
* 1st Division (#3 & #4 from each group)
* 2nd Division (#5 & #6 from each group)
* 3rd Division (all other teams)
At the end of each leg, the top 2 teams from each division will be promoted to the division above theirs and the bottom 2 teams will be relegated.
