Right, so BC2 has the same rubbish menu system circa BF2142. If you click on Server Browser, you have to wait for the whole page to load before anything happens. Pretty lame.

I've just had a peek around at the config files and you might be able to shortcut it to make it easier to join local servers:

Step 1: Go to My Documents -> BFBC2Beta
Step 2: Open GameSettings.ini
Step 3: Search for the line that says: [GstPersistence]
Step 4: Underneath, find a line that says: FavoriteGames=

Edit this to be:
FavoriteGames=iGame Beta 01; iGame Beta 02; iGame BC2 Beta 03;


Save the file, restart Bad Company 2 and click on the Servers menu (on the right hand side, not Server Browser). These local servers should now show up in your favourites list.
