does anybody know how many players will be needed to fill 1 team(incl reserves) on the new installment?

It's a little early to be knowing these things yet. Once the game is released I would think that the rule lists will be decided.

As it stands, the game modes mean that competitive BC2 could be played quite differently to BF2.

- No commander
- Conquest mode or Rush mode?
- Vehicle restrictions / IO?
- Unlocks alllowed?
- ProMod type nerfing?

I personally am hoping very much that there is no nerfing of game content. If they do the same to BC2 as they did to COD4 in order to make it 'competitive', the game will have lost all of it's personality.

Also, unlocks in BC2 aren't anything like in BF2. It's like BF2142, but wil loads more unlocks to obtain. If they get removed from competitive games, then a lot of the basic BF features will be missing. For example, ammo packs and defibs are unlocks...

Kits are also different. There are only four vanilla kits in the game (once again, much like BF2142). It's the unlocks and the loadout that you choose to employ that distinguishes classes. Makes for great customisation, but adds to balancing issues. This level of customisation was what led to promod on COD4.

Lots of things to answer still. For me, I just can't wait to get into the Beta from tomorrow and check out all of the new stuff :)
