GRRR Squad Forum

Hi Everyone,

This is my first Blog, I hope you enjoy it and do not be critical...else I will spit on your food at rage.

As some of you are aware and some are now.

GRRR currently has a team registered in the CS GO open division. This is the first time GRRR has entered into a counter strike league or, if I recall ever had players that enjoy the game.

We have spent several nights practising/Strating particular maps which fits our play style. However, most of our learning has been learnt by a game mechanic called "Play with friends". This is when you party up and play against another team with similar ranks as you...this is where you learn how to rush a bomb site or learn how people rotate and technically learn favourite hiding spots your enemy may sit in.

We have played 8 games so far in the DGL and with our current play time over teams that have been playing for countless hours (well you can see their hours) but still it is fucking good.

We have won a total of 5 games and lost 3 games.

The current top clan ATL. Yakuza practices with Bravado and they are new to the open division. They absolutely deep boar drill us. 1 player have over 4000 hours, more than our entire team.

ALG are PREM players that started a new team and we learn a lot from these guys like smoke placement in order to peak through smoke and get the kills you need. We lost against these guys.

Ballers are also PREM guys starting a new team.. these lads did some fishy stuff that made some of us never forget how loose our arseholes could get. They out shot us with pistols/SMGS while we were fully equipped with one shot rifles. Ballers hours add us to 16000hours, hours is 3600.

This is when we started winning, positions 5.6.7.8.11...WERE GRRR DOMINATED!!!.
TE clan tied with ALG. Our game against them was the most enjoyable because it was extremely close. We won the first map with 16-14. Second map they won 16-11 and then third map we won 16-9. This made us go to bed with big fat smiles...Even bigger for some that had hanky panky after it.

Now with some great help from Stefan (husky) coming up with strats and helping us even though he was not in the team. We played Ps{go} on a map called Cache. We did so well, we were up by 10-1 at some stage. How ever both Edward and Juandres line dropped and we finished first half 10-5. Thanks a lot fuckers!!!
PS[go] are such nice guys we have formed an alliance with them to practice against them and learn from each other.

On to some other news, Juandre is called a COD player in the CS:go community because he can only play with one gun that has a scope(SG553). People actually rage at him for this and swear at him as this gun is considered noob. However even top clans use this gun to cover certain areas in maps.

What is lekker for our team now, is our last two games are teams in 9.10 position. which will be played in the next two weeks. By my calculations, if we beat them we will finish 4th on the log. Which I think is freaking amazing. for the first comp in CS to finish fourth is an accomplishment. This achievement is bigger than Oasis's entire music career.

I hope you guys that dont know CS would come and join us. I think it might even bite you into playing in the future. even if you dont know the game it is really fun to play on the comp severs with friends.

As for future leagues, we would like to invite two people to the clan. These people have put so much time in with us for practises and just sitting in TS having laughs. So I hope applications can be opened. DarkFlame is one and Weresplicer is another. This would allow us to put two teams into CS next year.

Records and Rages

Do not play with Irish_luck after he has smoked the magic dragon...This will make you rage like a fat kid been given salad.

Noms holds the record for the worst score after a comp game with 1kill and 19deaths.

Edward goes extremely quite when losing, the guy get more demotivated than the Brazilian soccer team after the world cup.

Gerry will only play when ED is online, he will not support the rest of the team and play for fun. This makes him a GIANT poes but we love him.\

Andrew makes the most difficult guns to play with seem easy. This makes the other team rage extremely hard.

Russian kills the entire team with SG553, this obviously makes the other team rage. Allowing us to obtain more rounds.

Russian always sits in the same spots and never moves around(reminds me of mark in BF). the other team catches on to this and russian gets upset.

Vorster is the most improved player in the team. He has really out shined most of us...most of the time.

Edward gets the award for the most clutches for all games. (clutching is when you the last one alive and you defeat 2 or more opponents).

Irish and Vorster hold the award for dying almost every time with a grenade in their hands.

Paul wins the award for best sniper, he has really been there for the team.

Gerry wins the award for the most background noise during comps. His wife seems to walk with bricks!!!...RAGEEE!!!!!

Seeing as Grant did not mention anything about how he plays, I will do so now.

Grant is our lurker as it is called in CS. He is the guy waiting for the other team to rotate before destroying them with dual beretas. Now the dual beretas are considered to be the most useless pistols in the game as they do next to no damage and are about as accurate as Russian with any other gun other than the SG. But somehow Grant manages to kill people with it which results in hysteria for the entire team. Grant probably has the best spray control with the AK in our team. Other than that he is a good team player, sometimes, when he wants to, when he feels so inclined. But other than that he is definitely the best manager we could've asked for and we appreciate him for that.

PS. Irish has a $ 400 cosmetic knife in game.
