Good day Grrrbians,

CS:GO

So much love has been given to CS over the past months and I for one is thoroughly enjoying it.

I am defiantly sure we will be able to get 5 players for this game for the future league. But what excites me the most is the GRRR name is being shown to a fresh audience. Thus we will be getting new people applying for the clan EG: Giftig.

This will also help our fellow shout-casters get involved into CS perhaps :)

Questions:
1.IF we decide to put up a team for CS, it leaves a gap in the BF team(if there is one). What is your thoughts?.
2.We need to practice as much as possible, Casual play until JAN then strats and practices from MID JAN?.
3.5 player team with 1-3 reserves are needed as per the comp rules. So we need a committed lot. Do we have the spirit?.
4.How do we get Russian to stop team killing his teammates?.

Now Stefan has made an amazing post for beginners, I never knew CS to be so technical but it is, so fucking learn it.

BF4

BF4 will always be in my heart and it still is in my fellow GRRR folk. how ever looking at the comp next year it is going to be a 5v5 Rush format.

This will involve infantry only. Thus EVERYONE is a medic!!!.

Thus Russian will not be picked due to him not able to revive any one.

My feelings towards rush is great, I enjoy it over conquest. Also you are able to lock down certain points.

That being said Rush is a whole new learning curve for us as all we ever played for comp is conquest.

We would need peoples time to learn new strats...

Questions
1. What are your feelings on rush?
2. Team would be easy to fill 5 players, should these players be core?
3. Should we try some thing new?
4. Do you think QB would look better with a beanie on?
5. Do you think Mark would camp better in rush format?

So many questions!!! :|

I think that we should avoid last years mistake.... so lets register the whole clan for the games that we will be competing in (even if you not playing)
So that when we have issues of availability, or line issues on the night (need to include Load shedding now) the team can grab an available resource to play the game.

Also ontop of this topic,

Would GRRR have an issue maybe allowing some people outside of GRRR to play in our team. get two teams going.

for sure - we have in the past almost always had a second MERC team - so I can't forsee this being an issue at all!

I think we need to see what the new year brings in terms of interest.

How many guys want to still play BF4 competitively?
Maybe we could have a CSGO and a BF4 (5v5) team?

I am certainly enjoying CSGO at the moment, but doubt i'll be competing due to my new schedule being as unpredictable as it gets.

From my side i would enjoy a bit of Rush, we really enjoyed it in BF3 so don't see a problem with strats, as long as we have dedicated players and like morph said, rather enroll more players than needed.

CS for me will be be a bit of a long shot, you guys have been playing a lot now and might take me too long to get into it, however would like to give it a go...

Don't know how I missed this, I think lets see for sure what games and modes will be played next year before we decide but I would be keen to sub/casual for BF4/CSGO (once I get it and play)

I will be taking a break from DGL for 2015, if things change I will let you guys know.
I am happy to register as reserve for BF4 just in case.

At this stage the social side of gaming is all I want to be involved in.
