Can not comment on the motherboard, I am an ASUS fan.

CPU, yes upgrade that.

GPU, I would shop around a bit on that price. Consider 2nd hand GPU's as well.

RAM, that is 8GB ram in total?

PSU, should be fine.

HDD, just don't get the green range, they are super kak.

Case, just built your own case, much easier, and looks a lot nicer.

Peripherals, could maybe shave a couple of rand here.

Yeah 8gb in total.

The peripherals can change or be dropped as needed, they are only there right now because the budget allows.

I really don't like the idea of any second hand components, but will look at some other options.

i will never buy a new GPU again. Bought my GTX680 for R3000 second hand. No issues. You lose way to much cash monies buying GPU new

Going through with Skoups and others with Dealer connections, likely to get things a lot cheaper, so could hit the sweet spot of just over R8k

Thanks for the feedback, unfortunately the machine is needed quite urgently, so I havent been able to change it up too much.

Upgraded the CPU and downgraded GPU somewhat.

Happy with it for now, will definitely be upgrading it as finance allows.
