Hi guys, thought I'd just let you know, I am done with BF4. I wanted to log on this weekend to play some and I could not as the server timed out the whole time. I have enough other games and things to occupy my time with so that's it for me and BF4.

My intention has always been to specialise in commander mode, I ended up with a score 2nd highest in South Africa, but it appears as if the format for the comps (clannies and potential DGL) will be more in line with COD lines (small teams, bunch of ground pounders etc.) which I just do not enjoy, so yeah, when the clannies comes up and a commander is indeed needed, I am more than willing to offer my services, but pending that, I am done with EA's shit.

I also want to dedicate a bit more of my time to other things (woodwork) and games that I actually enjoy, so for the time being, the games I'll be playing will be:

1. Planetary Annihilation (strategy)
2. DOTA2 (new to this franchise, but really enjoy it thusfar)
3. Carnage Racing (Basically, TrackMania with guns and upgrades, when BF4 did not work, logged in on that and already hold a number of world records.)

So, without further ado, good luck with BF4 and should the clan need a commander, shout. Given the quality of the game at launch for BF4, chances are, that this was also my last copy of BF I'll ever buy.

I hear you. BF4 was a step up in terms of effects and scenery but a big step down in terms of bugs, crashes and netcode. More frustration than the price tag warrants.
Titanfall is looking good.

Titanfall may look good and all, but I actually think I am done buying anything EA or DICE related. There are more than enough other production houses out there producing good quality games.

I thought it was just me having constant disconnects while playing in commander mode. For some reason I cannot complete a full round. Normal cannon fodder mode is fine (most of the time).

Agreed. EA is just trying to outsell the COD series and in the process ruined BF.

Seeing as Skouperd mentioned dota 2, I'm also new to that, maybe we can get a few of us to start jamming that together?

Come to Planetside 2. We've had a year of bug fixes, changes and new content, plus it's free to play and I'm still hooked.

I may even let you join my outfit. I need more minions! Ceres server, terran republic faction.

I'm also dabbling in some Dota2... but the frequency that people leave the game is freaking annoying!

PS2... also got that, will just need to re-install it
