According to the following post, teams need to register their team for rAge.

Once again we are going on the assumption that we have been invited and will therefore be entering the team. The problem however is that we can only select 8 people. Throughout the year and specifically in the last leg the team had massive support and there are more than 8 people who deserve to go to rAge.


So as the current clan leader, after consulting some wise people I took it upon myself to come up with the team list.

Hubris (Captain)
Tyger (Vice Captain)
Phatso
Lee
J0nny
Dryman
Cronos
Paul

These 8 people will carry the hopes of the clan with them and do their best to make Grrr proud. This however does mean that two very consistant and invaluable players to the team U2M and Onny will not be able to attend the DGL finals.

I bought 3 rAge tickets so as a sign of my personal appreciation for these two I am going to donate 2 of them to U2M and Onny (Skouperd you can buy the extra one from me)

So unless there are any serious objections to the listed team or the method use to decide I will be registering this team tonight

I really don't like the "only 8 players" and this is why. There are more than 8 players that got this team to the DGC... Without these players, we wouldn't be there... Fuck man..

I just want to say, Ony and Mark, you guys have been an invaluable part of our team, and contributed so much. You are always there, and honestly we couldn't have made rage with out you guys.
To me it is desperately unfair that, we have to only pick 8, but it is what it is.
I hope you both understand, as i would not want either of you to feel hurt and left out by this, even though i know that want is probably not possible.
I too want to give you both something for your support, what that is i dont know yet, but i am sure i will have some up with something by rage time.

To the rest of the grrr people, it really has been amazing this last leg how all of you have come out ans supported us and practised with us. I mean we have had more than 16 people at practices an many many occasions. This is one of the biggest reason we have improved and done so well, as competition is the way you improve, and having so many to practice with has provided that competition.

Yip I totally agree, I understand if they said we could bring 8 PC's and 12 players but I guess we have to follow the rules. Even people in the clan who aren't in the team line up helped, hell even people like Snake who aren't in the clan (yet) contributed.

Personally I think every person who just stood for 30 mins during pracs while we chatted about strats before providing resistance deserves to be at rAge but that is not the reality we are face with.

All we can do now is make Grrr proud at the finals and party it up during an epic weekend with the rest who can make it to rAge!

Question: We need to register an 8 man team for rAge due to the number of PC's and ticket allocations. Are we forbidden from using other players (from the Leg 3 line-up) in any of the matches? The reality is, we have enough spare tickets to cover entry for everyone, so we're not going to be looking ofr additional free passes.

Paul/Hubris, could you check this with the DGC organisers? At least if w can play Leg 3 players in the games, then Onny and Mark could at least feature in a game or two?

Worth asking them about, I think.In fact, more than asking, we could be a little pushy in this regard (over to QB then...).

Well congratulations to the team including Onyx and Mark! I'm sure that we will bring back results and will be proud no matter what! It's been fantastic being able to support via practice games and listening into the com's while you guys have been smashing your way through the league!

Hi guys. Myself and Mark would like to thank you for the kind centiment shared above and specifically you, Paul for your kind offer regarding your tickets that you paid for. We were planning on paying for tickets anyway so if there is anybody in the clan more needy of tickets, we will gladly pay for ours.

Tyger, no need to show any more appreciation - you've said thank you already. We were glad to be of help when it was needed. (Just make sure the rules state that we are allowed to at least spectate as reserves and also make sure we have fresh ingredients for the muffins! )

We wish the team all the best at rAge 2012! (If you need us, we will be the ones with our noses squished up against the 'windows'.)

But what this does mean, is that from the 13 tickets we managed to acquire, to the 8 tickets we are getting from DGC. WE CAN HAVE EVERYONE ATTENDING WATCHING THE GAMES! PEWPEW!

I was really concerned about this and didn't want to say anything until the facts were concrete.

Also, remember the DGC team (listed above) cannot go back to the NAG LAN area, but the NAG LAN tickets can go backwards and forwards.

I am just stoked that we can have everyone in one area at a given time cos I was worried we would have to seperate during the Saturday, and I didn't like that. Cos i like you guize.
