It is with great sadness that I am informing all from [grrr] that I am soon to be internetless!
We have been informed from our MD that our internet will no longer be subsidized by the company.
This being said our household is in the position of having to re-evaluate the cost to benefit ratio of retaining the internet service at home. I'll let you know how we work the numbers but as it stands the cost maybe to high for us to retain it!
Just thought I would let you all know if you suddenly see a huge reduction in my connectivity in the next month! Peace!

thanks fella's. Looking at other options an checking what plans can be made may see if a downgrade will be possible. But I don't see the point of a capped account. However you do with what you do.

The 384 lines are being upgraded to 1mb lines in end September - beginning October. Maybe a get a cheap 384 uncapped(1mb line) when the times comes? Should work you out along with line rental and everything R620. Although that is still alot for Internet

So it's uncapped or nothing? That's a strange outlook, coming from a gamer...

I spoke with the wife and seeing as we don't have any other services like DSTV she's not willing to give up on the freedom of youtube. So I'm looking at migrating my line service to Afrihost there is a special on the DSL rental and uncapped packages which should reduce the price marginally enough to continue with service. We going to see how the next 2 months fair and take a decision. So I has it for the foreseeable future.
