So we got through RFH, but they had us worried there. Our next game is against FFL who are a hot and cold team, made up of a solid core of very sharp medics. Please would you sign-up for Wednesday night at 8PM via the calendar - you will see an event there and you can do sign up on that by indicating RSVP.

I'll post the elimination and team when I can, hopefully in time for prac. I've posted on DGL asking for Wednesday's game (I asked some time ago, then again now), but we still need to eliminate. The plan will be much the same in terms of maps. Aim for: Seine, Damavand and Noshahr. Eliminating maps: Metro, Bazaar and Tehran.

They have some relatively low level guys, but players to watch in this game are:

MidNight7481 http://battlelog.battlefield.com/bf3/soldier/MidNight7481/stats/355992351/pc/ - best player
priest28 http://battlelog.battlefield.com/bf3/soldier/priest28/stats/315619731/ - prolly armour driver (lots of hours, 2x me at least).
skinnydav http://battlelog.battlefield.com/bf3/soldier/skinnydav/stats/248275830/pc/ - captain
kougom http://battlelog.battlefield.com/bf3/soldier/K0ug0m/stats/215069404/ - clan leader

They won their last games on Metro and Damavand, which kind of indicates that they're quite a tough team to fight through once they dig in. They're sure to have a very good stand-off armour game. So to take it out we're going to need at least one player, maybe two, from the infantry squad rambo-rocketing.

We need to get our infantry dug in on flags and ready to repel attacks - they will send the res train and use their armour to shell from a distance. They'll roll their troops flag to flag most likely, so lets keep our eyes open and comms up so we can hold our line while covering our bases and pressuring approach routes (get long range LOS!).

Our game plan is as always is: get a quick start on the contested flag, dig in on our gimme flags, absorb the first wave of infantry attacks (1/3, 2/3 or 2/4 flags) while we take out their armour and move ours onto one of their gimmie flags. From there its all defence, pressure and spawn trapping their chances away.

If we don't get our way off the start, lose our tank or go down a flag, we have to stop giving tickets to that area and focus on killing their armour as a priority and just keep holding what we have until our tank goes live. Back flag capping options are always great, but we need to call it early and wait to attack it with a full squad.

The key thing for us is to focus on voice-coordination to spread out our players and cover the flags from all approach routes. Prepare for a tough game, they're not going to make it easy for us! Secure your flags, manage chaos, play pressure for an advantage (draw em out), communicate the advantage and then press an attack.

Only have 7 people signed up for the match on Wednesday. Well technically 8 as Onny said Mark should be able to play.

Where are Dryman and Cronos?

Is Dryman not in CPT still? Maybe Hubris should give him a call?

Last I heard he was going to be available for the match unless he is only coming back tomorrow

I already spoke to Dry and posted that he is only back on the 26th. Which is probably after ASF. Cronos should be available, he usually doesn't get around to signup. We'll see him tonight I am sure.

I'm eliminating with FFL at 7PM, if you think you'd do a better job in the knife fight, be online at that time and we can get it done. Knifing will be done on their server probably.

We need a monumental effort from everyone at practice tonight. It is important we enjoy ourselves and come away feeling good, but we need focus from everybody. We cannot come to prac tonight with aim to have as much fun as we can.

Based on the elimination, we'll discuss the maps we will play then break up for some quick anti-armour drills and some 4v4 infantry play with a focus on communication and establishing/maintaining map pressure.

Cool. I think you are as good as anyone to do the knife fight.

For prac I think we need to be in the squads we will be in for the match. Last prac we were mixed up a bit and that lead to the miscommunication etc.

I think if we keep it short 1hour and sharp that will also go along way. We should all know the strats for the maps and hopefully we get the maps we want.

Then that means we just need to focus on a few tweaks. i.e. Armour drills, 4 vs 4 rush for communication.

The only two maps they can give your trouble on are Bazaar and Metro.

Well whether Hubris wins the Knife fight or not he will get atleast 2 eliminations

So that takes care of Metro and Bazaar, then they will elim Noshahr I am pretty sure and Tehran. That will leave Davamand which they did well on and Sienne

We should know by 7:30 tonight
