OK, so Admin on this site is a very different BEAST.
If there were shortcuts to these things, it would be better, but for now, I only know the long way around this control panel.

To go edit the NewsBox / Annoucements:

1. Go to the Admin Control Panel (The Link is at the Bottom of the Page [ADMIN]or[INDENT]http://www.grrr.co.za/admincp/index.php
   [/INDENT]
   
2. The Second Item in the Admin Panel [Settings] has an arrow that you can click on to expand the submenu, click on that.
3. Select Options, this will load a menu on the main screen, scroll down to near the bottom where you will find: [News & Annoucements] then click [GO]
4. You will see the NewsBox filled with
   <-- BR is a linefeed, to make it neater, otherwise the text you put in here is squeezed to the top of the box.
5. [align=center] is also in there, but not mandatoy, feel free to update any news inside this box and click [SAVE]
6. Thats it, the newsbox has been updated.

Hmm, looks like HTML code only in the NEWSBOX - gonna research a bit to see if we can do BBCODE instead.
(easier than HTML foh shoh)

OK, nevermind with the linebreak - I went and edited the NewsTemplateCSS file (forumhome_lastest_news) so that there is a line break before the news code
