I have played that game many a time. Its not a default pack of cards, its got little pictures on it ("HOOKACHUKA!"). Very epic and def will have serious lolz.

As suggested by Paulius, let it be up to the birthday crew to decide. I don't mind whatever, as long as its with you guys (/cue "aaaaaah cuuuuute").

Regarding overcrowding j0n0's plek, it seemed to make most sense and I chatted with him about it. Hopefully the 2nd flat will be avail for less overcrowding. Either way, tis gonna raaawkbox baby!

Seeing as this weekend is special-lark, it would make sense for us all to spend as much time together before we go our separate ways on Sunday again?
Also, cash-money isn't flowing so freely at the moment for most of us, and then Lee suggesting this interesting game to play, I did thoughts to myself if perhaps it was possible we could all be together in one place for the day. If the weather was good, we could play some ball games on the beach (white t-shirts and shorts, boys ), like action cricket or whatever, play indoor games like twister, charades, card games and then end it off with an awesome meal somewhere like Jarrod suggested?

This is not every day I get to spend with my grrr-family and want to get the most out this weekend (and once again realise why I love you all so much).

Secondly why don't we just hit Long Street or is that far from where everyone is staying?

As a true vaalie, like Paul, I would've said the same thing. Although there are some other *VERY PRETENTIOUS* clubs I know of, I think long street caters well.

But Paul, we forget that CPT is like 4 JHB's put next to one another.

I'm also fairly useless when it comes to night spots as I don't really go out much. Long Street is an option, but it will be yectic busy on a weekend. It might be worth trying Observatory which would be less crowded and still have a selection of restaurants and bars for us to trash. Otherwise Jarrod or murgs might know of a venue closer to their side of things that has a similar vibe - I dont want ppl to think I'm suggesting venues just because they're close to my place. The only other option I can think of would be something like *shudder* Claremont/Cavendish night spots, altho I think a grrroup of 30- and 40-somethings might feel a little dated around all the teeny boppers.

I'm assuming that people don't really care much about the venue as long as we're all there and there's plenty of everyone's poison, but if people want to go as big as dancing/clubbing/whatever, it would be good to be within striking distance of the CBD. I can always ask my landlady's eldest where the good night spots are as research...

i have been working on and practicing with my paintball bow, so i would LOVE to play. BUT we are looking at at least R120 pp for the paintball. I wold be more than willing to set it up if needs be, but i also like Ony's idea of chilling on the beach and playing games.
