Yeah, I wish I checked the site first before booking. I woulda then chose the same CPT to JNB flight too. I just thought it would be nice to sleep in a little later

WOW

I karent belief the awesomeness of all you pplz! twill be brilliant I say BRILLIANT!!!!

I am so stoked that everyone is making an effort to come down for the Mother of all mother city parties.

I do find it odd though that three people have chosen to stay with the person who has the smallest flat and no transport... I guess the prospect of turning j0no's flat into a large hotbox must be very appealing... (and of course the other fringe benefits of having 4 guys staying in a small flat :sex

Okay, now we just need to figure out what the events are going to be. For the Saturday night shindig, I was thinking to book a large table at a local restaurant for a meal, followed by some serious pubbing/clubbing for all who are keen. Now bear in mind that I'm the guy who's about to turn 40, so I have no idea what the hot spots are in Cape Town. I'd appreciate some input from the younger and cooler members of the clan...

As for the Saturday daytime event, is everyone still keen on a paintball session? I haven't got a clue where to organise such a thing, but I can do some research if everyone is keen on this.

Also, do we want to invite any friends to the festivities? I thought it would be cool to invite the likes of Dante (Eggy) and the CPT based BBH guys for example, to make for a mad party. Also, being as Onxy, Voetesk and I are celebrating birthdays on this weekend, there may be special friends/family we want to invite. Everyone cool with this?

Anyway, it's going to be an epic weekend of epic leg end ness. I can't wait!!

@Hubris, Nomad, Cr0n0s and Jackal - we haven't forgotten about you guys, you need to make a plan to get down!! Let's not let financial issues stop you guys joining the fun. As mentioned before, there are funds in the Slush that can be used to contribute towards your transport costs. Give me a shout / PM, and we'll work out some arrangement.

Jarrod I think you need to start a seperate thread or it will get lost here about what to do on the Satueday during teh day.

AS far as I know Murgs, Onny, Phatso and myself are not that keen on paintball. But as Sheri said, the birthday people should decide (bearing in mind it is my birthday the weekend before so technically I am also a birthday people)

Oh and I called dibs first on j0nny's place, Lee and Phatso are tag alongs

Yeah, I'll look to borrow/hire/steal a car for the weekend to help with general shifting about of out-of-towners, and hopefully procure use of the flat next to mine for the 2/3 nights to avoid over-crowding.
