What is an .ai file?

it's a Adobe Illustrator file - VECTOR file. IOW it's not like a jpg/png where the pixels are fixed, it's vectors that can be resized to any size.

Hey guys, we need a cool avatar for steam...So when we play comp games we look more professional. PLEASE HELP!!! plus it will look great when we playing different games. it needs to stand out like russians vagina.
