I think everyone's has a valid point and there is no clearly easy path so I here is what I think regarding
Jacket Sizes
Jarrod is right in that there will never be a perfect time and there will always be an issue. At the same time J0nny is right that the "uniform" is meant to show that we are together, a family , a club etc, etc
However it isn't the Jacket but more the badges etc that will inform who we are. So if Denis is happy to source his own Jacket and use the same badges as the rest of us then I say we go ahead, reason I think this is acceptable is that there are people in the clan who aren't getting Jackets now but who will be getting in the future possibly and chances are it will be another batch of different Jackets.
Badges/Patches
I personally would go with the school of thought of having a nice Grrr badge on the pocket then each event whether it is rAge, XXXL parties or what ever that produces a small badge that goes on the arm or what ever place the wearer wants it

FFS, lost post FTBFL!!
Okay, spoke with Denis, he's happy to get an XL. If it doesn't fit, he'll donate it to another clan member. I suggest that if it doesn't fit, we refund him from the slush fund and let the next new member who wants it buy it.
With that resolved, I'm going to let Jess go ahead with our order, before we lose the stock. If anyone has any further reason not to order the jackets, speak up quickly. I'm going to place the order at 4pm.
On the patch debate, I'm happy to go with a front pocket grrr emblem, preferably backed up with a military styled name tag above the pocket.
As for the special achievement/event badges, we can deal with those as and when they arise.

Ok sweet, big ups to Jarrod for all his work.
Lee (or anyone else) if you could design a patch that would go on the pocket then we can get cracking on that. I personally would just have the words GRRR
in a cool design, no slogan or anything. Maybe your Name like Jarrod says but going generic will be more cost effective
We then create patches with different stuff as time goes by!

Actually, what I said was to have the name on a separate badge, above the pocket i.e. like those military ribbon style name tags.
Looks like this:

Jackets are off. Seems that they don't have anywhere near enough jackets in the right sizes to fill our order.
A complete fuck up. No fault of Jess', she was working from what she was told.
So we're back to the drawing board again. Thankfully, Stu has stepped in and will be sourcing new jacket designs for us to fight about

Stu, please phone me on my cell phone if you find any coats or jackets at any of these places that they stock in 3XL or bigger.
But seriously, for phuck sakes, people this is Africa, wtf is it with all you small oaks? Geez, let me guess, none of you grew up in the freestate, played rugby, or knows what biltong tastes like? Freaken hell, I feel like I am back in high school where we needed to have specially made rugby jerseys for us (Btw, I was one of the smallest lock in the province, weighing in at only 95KG in matric...)
BTW, trying to find a springbok jersey in anything bigger than 2XL is also a nightmare. I was lucky, I actually found me one, that actually fits. Granted it is Victor Matfield's jersey which he played with against Italy, but at least the thing fits... (PS, Victor Matfield weights 5KG less than me, and only 12cm taller than me, so his jersey is actually a nice fit)

now, this might be a blessing in disquise as we can now source some jackets for real men and stop playing around in the kiddies section....
