The point i am trying to make is firstly, we will need to get Saturdays booze closer to the time.

Okay cool, seems that we're good for the food.
Grant (@Atomicduzt), are you good to front eh cash for the food? If so, send me the bill after you've bought everything, along with your bank details, and I'll refund you from the slush fund. Much easier that way.
As for the booze, not sure how you guys want to procure that? It's difficult to just put a list up, with no accountability for cost. We have had occasions in the past when there was a lot of booze left over (granted, this was before the days of beer pong).
I suggest putting together a real list of what is likely to be consumed on the day. Consider what time the braai is starting on the Saturday, and how much people are realistically likely to drink - you don't want to underestimate either!
Anyway, it's not my issue this year
but I suggest a better plan is required for the booze management.
Also, it's worth getting a bathtub or something with ice in which to pack drinks. The last couple of years I've got one from the bottlestore (they charge ~R200 deposit), but maybe someone has one that they can bring.
And... don't forget the ice. That's just not cool

yeah - sort it out on the day for SAT - kinda thing - Thursday night being the exception a bit, I will buy my Thurs haze fest drinks this weekend

I think plan should be.
We will buy a couple cases of beer/hunters and some cokes and other soft drinks.
2 x case castle light
1 x case hunters dry
1 x case black label
5 x 2L Coke
2 x 2L Sprite
1 x bottle soco
1 x Ice bath
Lots of ice.
Then each ok brings a bottle of their spirit of choice.
Sound good? Everyone able to drink the beer selection?
