5kgs Lamb chops = R450
5kgs Fillet =R475
10kgs Ribs = R650
Spices = R200
Onions(fried onions) = R30
Beetroot = R50
Bread/Rolls = R150

That looks like a lot of meat and it is enough. We always have okes snacking while braaing and then eating dinner and then eating later and then munchies and then.. :P So maybe its fine, but it looks good for now for sure!

The rest looks epic and I VOTE YES FOR BEETROOT. Its nice to have something cold with the graze. I am not a massive fun of too many breadrolls but thats just me.

My only question, and I guess I probably don't know better is R200 for spices... Then again, thats a fuckton of meat so it may be fine.

Looks good, Grant. So 17 ppl signed up for chowing Sat. I calculate roughly R120 per person then.
Sound right?

What is happening regarding drinks?

Sorry for mix up, of course we need the food.

Grant get final cost and send details so we can make the payment.

People coming can give the R120 on the day, or transfer cash to the fund.

Drinks i think we can organize on the day.
In the mean time, lets get an idea of what people will want to drink.

Drinks:
Hunters Dry
Soco
Monster

Given that this is the clans 10th year braai, I think it would be fair to cover the food cost from the slush fund. We have over R10K in the fund (That's after the T-Shirts have already been paid for, the only thing still to be covered is the remainder of the accommodation - R4620), I think we should use a small amount of it for this. That way, Grant can buy whatever he needs and I can refund him the cost. It also means that if he finds additional stuff that he wants to add to the food list, he can do so without checking the costs first.

Thoughts?
