I tried to order the procon server, but apparently the dataserver in Cape Town (the only one in SA) is unavailable. Does it matter if the procon server is hosted internationally? If not, I'll order today. It's $20 a year, so will buy the full period in order to match with our server subscription.

Good idea and approved from my side Jarrod. Lets find out if we can do the international thing first however.
Do we know other SA server owners with the layer?

That is an interesting question. I'm not 100% sure. I think BMW are running a layer I'll try get some answers from them and do some research and see if any issues would come up with int hosting.

Can we think of any reason why an internationally hosted ProCon server would cause problems?

I'm worried it's going to introduce lag, but I'm not sure how the netcode works at all.
