ACTUALLY practise is on MONDAYS - as lee said in an earlier post, and a mixed practise is on thursdays.
is there a reason that we have the mixed practise on the thursady and not the monday?

Yes, how's this reason:

at the moment, the occasional monday or tuesday would be an issue for me, friday nights is generally family night, but flexible.

We created a thread to survey which night would be best, and you were the only one who raised an objection to Monday night.
