Ok we are just over 2 months away from rAge, assuming we are either able to purchase tickets or get tickets for the tournament we need to start planning

  1. Accomodation
  2. Saturday Braai
  3. T-Shirts/Jackets (who has done this before , some one could pick this up please)
  4. Games to be played if we don't make the comp or for people who aren't playing in the comp. Nothing sucks more balls then not knowing what you are going to do at rAge. I vote for Borderlands 2, anything else?

I hope nobody minds, but I have started making some enquiries regarding accommodation. I am trying to keep the cost around R400 pp. I have included Fleet Street and Heatherdale in my enquiries list so will see what happens.

@RE don't be worrying about the costs just yet. The GRRR Slush fund typically contributes towards or covers the cost of accommodation for rAge. And given that the Slush fund is currently very healthy (~R10K), we should be able to ensure that everyone who wants to, gets to stay at the GRRR digs for the weekend.

@Onxy, if you don'tmind can you check out what the costing would be at Heatherdale? I know that thy put their prices up a couple of years back, but if we can get a reasonable rate I reckon it would be awesome to stay there again. They are the most conveniently located for the Dome, and have superb entertainment facilities for the Saturday braai. It might be worth paying a few bob more to stay there.

Done. I am just waiting for a response from them. http://www.heatherdale.co.za/we-provide/rates/
I also had a look and put feelers out to the 2 places nearby.
