which reminds me - i had to go kill some baby spiders last night, and when you get to the den, the "nursemaid" chases you out (fortunately she stops just at the entrance and runs back to the brood - so its easy to pull one or two at a time and run out) but then the MOTHER appeared she just dropped out of the roof -

I have a feeling that the nurse maid would need to be dealt with first, as she might fit through the entrance to the den, but it might work to have the mother trying to deal damage through the den entrance while she gets pummeled from afar. (this being the next tier to the quest)
