Re: sg Clan Match
very productive practice last night.
1. AT4 is not something easily learnt....it takes quite a long time to get the 'feel' for it
* Jonno and I have had plenty practice with it and I can do fairly long distance shots, so we'll leave it up to the two of us to use AT4's and be done with it. *
> it's far more effective to take down the chopper with the AA - AA is vulnerable tho
> M95 Sniper rifle take down the chopper with 11 bullets
> The chopper with teh fast reload perk makes the gunner fire almost completely non-stop
2. Shooting at the head is 95% more effective than anywhere else at any distance.
> a strafing or enemy running perpendicular to you requires a small leading firing line
> if you know an enemy is around the corner, begin firing just before you 'breach' the corner and as stated above AIM AT THE HEAD
I can't stress the importance of aiming for the head enough. it takes 2/3 bullets to kill as opposed to most of or an entire clip if shooting at the torso, if we have a squad of 4 people doing this instinctively, then the enemy is gonna shit bricks!

To add (it might be very obvious) firing in burst is also way more effect than continued fire especially at long range.
The tactic for the match if we lose all the flags is for NoMaD and Lee to take the chopper to their back flag, as soon as Lee jumps out Hubris must spawn and continue firing thereby giving the impression the chopper is still engaging the enemy chopper (if it is up)

Re: sg Clan Match
Yeah and then a full squad spawn in on Lee. Hopefully they will able to steal an enemy tank and send into B an upset the apple cart.
Guys if NoMaD is going to be weaving a lot, we'll use the warhead perk to make hits count. If we're struggling, out comes the reload perk to suppress from distance.
Enjoyed the practice, a few more sessions like that and we can really suss out the game and pass knowledge aroun the clan.
Thanks guys!! Booya!

You know what we are also missing (we had a period of this though a while back) and think this is because you guys are all way too nice (I am not including myself)!
We are missing criticism, constructive criticism. If you see someone is doing something wrong, call him/her out on it. As I said before if you generalise the criticism then everyone assumes it is not them so say (this are not real examples)
"Lee, you always run off without your squad so we can't back you up or revive you"
"Murgs, I have noticed you stand out in the open and become an easy target"
Etc etc. It may have become a habit and people don't even realise, so just point it out nicely to them

"Paul, I've noticed that you become hormonal and irrational around a certain time of the month. Please try not to schedule competitive matches during these periods (<-see what I did there?) because your inelegant screeching rapes our ears on TS."
