Most fish don't mind the rain... they live in water.
The one's I eat, however, live in boxes labelld 'I&J' and are invertibrates, having an exoskeleton very similar to those found on Schnitzels.

Oh, I've met the two Lads that "hunt" these for your convenience:

Baseline, I thought teh same thing. I bought Frontlines Fuel of War a while ago thinking the drones would be the next big thing in shooters. THQ robbed me in broad daylight and I'm scared they will do the same here...

Still has it's bugs.
Also, takes a little getting used to, but at the end of it....I started doing purdy well in the MP.
havent tried the SP campaign @ all.
Snipers seem to be over-powered, one shot kills.
There's a lot similarity to be drawn from the COD regeime, black-ops in particular, with the earning ingame battlepoints, then using those to get new weapons, new scopes, camo and gadgets, etc etc. Also the same can be said for the ranking, seems to be similar in that you get Level ranking requirments for certain unlocks, plus weapon leveling challenges.
The Hitreg is spot on, there's a lot of TWITCH factor in the game, put down to the Hitreg.
Where it is unlike COD, is the biggish maps and game modes and direct controllable vehicles and unlocks.
Overall, I'd say this game has a lot of great potential. I'm not sure if it was me, but squad VOIP seemed un-responsive (much like Frontlines). The Vehicles do suffer from that plastic feel, due to the lack of Mouse deceleration and acceleration, so there turrets for example, do not feel like they are heavy and require torque to move.
There are a few annoyances, for example, you use up/down left/right aiming for your ground turret thing, but if you get in a Helo, the up/down is inverted, if you change the AIR mouse control to invert, it also inverts your turret.
So you have to get yourself used to the AIR invert rather, since it's unlikely that you will spend a lot of time in the air.
I must say, I did get a massive streak at one stage and bought myself the Helo, and RINSED....that thing is most definetly potent.
I really REALLY like the priority battle commander thing, marking enemies as priority targets, getting a general (within 100m) localization of a target to hunt. IT REALLY WORKS WELL.
All in all, I think it's a good purchase.
Others need to give their views, as I know it has it's faults....
I for one, think it worked quite well and am quite happy with it and I'm sure patches are in-comming for the Faults.

It's a Steam game, so if you buy it off the shelf, like I did, be prepared for the two hour wait, while Steam destroys your account cap, to download enormous chunks of data, just to do the initial installation.
2 Hours @ 800 kps... it says it has around 4 Gb to DL, but Steam is retarded. What it says, and what the online account monitor says, after the DL, are usually radically different.

I've read in a few forums that people have bought retail copies and still had to download close on 9GBs. Crazy stuff, that's about the size of the full game files. I downloaded over Steam, and it was about a 9.4GB download.
Seems that the installer disk is not configured properly, if you have to download the entire game even though you have the DVD.
I've also had some problems with the game. I play with inverted mouse, and the game won't retain my settings. So, I set it to invert in the options menu, and it resets itself after about 5 seconds of game time. I'm therefore unable to play the game until it gets sorted out.
Pisses me off that games can have such simple bugs. I'm also not very happy about the fact that this game truly is a console port, despite what Kaos said to the contrary. The proof of this? Well, every time it gives you instructions for how to do something, it lists the console controller buttons, not the keyboard/mouse bindings that you may have selected.
From what I've seen of the single player (the 5 minutes that I've actually played, it looks quite impressive. Graphics are nowhere near as bad as some people are saying on the Steam forums, in fact it looks pretty good (not BC2 good, but definitely pretty). The storyline looks to be pretty immersive too, the initial bus sequence is quite disturbing in parts, and it looks fairly believable.
Hopefully i'll be able to jam some more soon, and give MP a whirl too.
