after reading through this, whilst I don't wont to completely confuse everyone, i think there's great value in creating a whisper channel or channel swop key

While i havent finished reading both, I'm getting an idea of what can be achieved with it.
join and login to the grrr channel and have a key that can swop you to grrrbc2 channel or something like that.

My thinking is like this:

If you join alpha squad, you choose grrr chanel (dedicated key to goto grrr channel)
if you join beta squad, you choose grrrbc2 channel (dedicated key to goto grrr channel)
Then create a WHISPER key to talk to everyone in the team.

After being confused I had a peek and seems like I have setup the whisper for both channels correctly but my hotkey channel swop doesnt work. Can always alt-tab and manually do it I suppose. Lee if you are feeling brave, create some simple instructions (think Pauls intelligence level) and add the instructions to the first post.

I was just going to ask someone to set up a COD channel.

On a related note would anyone be against allowing one of my mates join in on the new COD TS channel? No hassels if we want to keep this grrr only but it would be nice if he could join in on the banter.

Nah bring 'em Daz. Its not like we use it for clannies or such.

PS For some reason the Channel is not listed alphabetically, its right near the bottom of the channel list. 2nd last at the moment .

Any ideas why the TS3 server has been down for a week or more?

Cant we rent our own from somewhere in suffefrica? Should be cheap and give some sense of permanence.
