I reckon that we do it the same way that we do it at rAge. We'll all put money in to a kitty, and then buy booze and chow for everyone. That way I can get all of the supplies in beforehand, so no running around to the shops on the Saturday.

I've paid for the go-karting upfront from the slush fund, so that's now booked for 2pm on the 28th. I reckon though that everything else should be covered out of our own pockets, as we've depleted the fund by R2320 for the karting, plus some assistance in funding for those people that needed help with travel costs. It would be good to leave some money in the slush fund for rAge...

I think those that can (that includes me) should refund the go-karting money to shore up the slush fund

Okay guys, we're now booked for the karting for 2pm. Prior to that, we were supposed to be pew-pewing but the Lazerquest spot has closed down.

Dazzie has kindly booked us in for ten pin bowling at 11am, and they have now asked for a deposit payment to secure.

There are sufficient funds in the slush fund to cover the deposit, so I'm happy to do that and collect on everyone to get the cash back. I just want to give anyone who's not interested an opportunity to opt out on this, as it was never put up for a vote/sign up.

With that in mind, please post here by the end of the day today if you don't want to play ten pin bowling. The booking that we have includes two games each, as well as a few platters of food to be enjoyed while we play.

I'm going to pay the deposit tomorrow morning (Friday 19th), so please ensure that you've posted before then if you want to opt out.

Is there enough time to get 2 games of bowling in and get to the karts? 11am - 2pm is only 3 hours.

I had wondered that myself. But, being a non-bowler myself, I left it up to Dazzies better judgement.

We could make it one game to be on the safe side though?

Ja I would make it 1 game. I think there are like 20 of us, that will take a good while unless we are split between like 5 or 6 lanes
