My games pc seems to of just had a hard disk failure, one of my striped drives with W7 on it so I can't boot my pc.
Odds are I won't make the practise match in an hour, unless I manage to revive it somehow.

Great practice game and good comments from the team... Good lessons too - so we always need to have a strategy before the match  and the squad leaders need to know who they are and take control. In fact the squad leaders need to ensure that they have a plan going into the match - i will ensure that Shadey and i have this in place going forward. If we are going to keep our winning streak, then we must keep up the practicing and preparation. It did not help that J0nny was the squad leader AND the APC driver - i did not click that he would not be able to guide the team - Thanks Lee for stepping in and i 100% agree with J0nny that you make a fantastic lead on this map. You took control and won the next round for us. Your quick decision and decisiveness was exactly what we needed to win!!!!
and YES us loosing with 20 something tickets to a team with 7 people was shocking.... I ended that round thinking Fucking-A, wow - we normally loose with a lot more points, so nice going team - until you pointed out that they won with 7 FREAKING PEOPLE.
I would suggest that we keep the current team, replacing Oni with Murgs/Lep/Paul... Voetsek, its your call. Lee is now the squad leader with J0nny taking control of the APC. I do think that you need to be able to request a spanner monkey if necessary as often you are away from the main squad.
[+]Alpha Squad:Voetsek (SQUAD LEADER)
[+]Alpha Squad:Shadey
[+]Alpha Squad:Lep/Murgs
[+]Alpha Squad:Fly
[+]Bravo Squad:Lee (SQUAD LEADER AND COMMANDER)
[+]Bravo Squad:J0nny (APC DRIVER)
[+]Bravo Squad:Skoups
[+]Bravo Squad:SloDaz

Soz Okes, I didn't realize I was Vice-Captain of BC2 until I read my "rank" on the DoGaming grrr page.
Must say I was quite surprised! Woulda been nice to 'officially' know I was expected to perform certain functions.
Anyhow, I totally agreed with Jono's 'outburst' during the first round... I felt exactly the same! Just was too shy to speak.
I'll work with Daz and make sure that we are properly prepared for future games. *Daz - consider me your 'right hand - woman' and lemme know what u need help with.
That being said.... I need to know if you all are actually reading the maps that I put names to. If not, please let me know cause it takes up quite a bit of time... and I would rather spend my time doing something else if it is not useful. I only do it because we only have like 4 ppl attending our Tuesday "walk through" nights... I figured those that cannot make it could benefit from the named maps. I know some members do not put much importance on map-place names, but for me it is essential. IMHO, it helps reduce chatter on TS and greatly increases our ability to communicate enemy positions. Maybe its just me.

Ja, Denis and Mikey were helping out with APC repairs/picking up the APC when it went down and I stayed alive/etc during the BBH prac and it was working nicely. Another tactic that was working nicely was screaming at random infantry to get in the thing while I repaired it. This ensures that the mounted gun on the APC defends it while it is repaired, and keeps it in our possession if I get pwnt while fixing it.
Sheri, I think the map names are vital too, for the same reasons. I also think that we need more players to pull finger and attend the Tuesday night walkthrough - it only takes 20-30 mins MAXIMUM and it helps individual players and the team as a whole.

Sorry Shadey, thats my mistake, i thought that you knew (and thats the mother of all F-ups) - you are always so keen to help out - thanks. I def need help with the running of the team but i suppose that i have not really let anyone know my plan and peoples role in the process.
If i think about it there are the following team roles that have been defined. My issue is that (just like most of you), i want the team to do well and run smoothly but i have little time to allocate - especially if i want to stay online and play, so my MASTER PLAN was to spread the team management work load around and make it easier for everyone. Please let me know if this does not work for you:
[+] Strategy and walk through - Shadey and Denis
[+] Squad/team leadership and selection - Voetsek, J0nny, Lee
[+] Game setup and practice matches - Slo
[+] Grrr server admin - Shadey/Lee
[+] Do gaming server booking - Lee/Slo
[+] Updating threads for matches, practice etc basically providing standard information - Slo
In a sense, i trust that we are all grown ups (except Murgs and Paul) and would expect us all to do our part. Like reading the threads, contributing to the strategy, being available, making sure we know what to do come game time etc. This way the work load is spread out and everyone enjoys time for both public and matches.
If this is not working then let me know and i will change or discuss what needs to be done.

Regarding tomorrows match, since I missed the prac, feel free to put Leppy in my spot, since by the sounds of it, he made a big difference.

Lep didn't play the practice match Thursday. Skoup played - so technically he should play Sunday, but he did mention he is still battling with this line.
Murgs - you were at least around on Tuesday for the walkthrough. I think you should then play Sunday. But yeah, its up to the SL's.

Whatever is fine. I'll be around on ts in case I'm needed, but I'm happy to sit out.

Strat for tonight will be what worked for us vs BBH on Thursday... with Lee to make the in-game strat calls.
As the US, we send 5 ppl to A -Lee's team (minus Jono) and myself & Mikey. Jono will take the APC with Fly and Murgs to take C.
From there we listen to Lee's next call.
As the Russians, keep the same 5 people and have them hit B. Jono/Fly/Murgs can hit A with the APC.
Again, listen for Lee to call the next move.
As a rule - we are going with the idea of AVOIDING conflict. For example, if we were holding B and they attack in force - we are NOT to spawn and keep trying to defend there. We are going to move to attack another flag they own which should be undefended.
Lets keep it tight with the infantry of both squads trying to move together as one solid unit - trying to move with our APC when possible.
When we are fortunate to hold 2 flags, first try to stick around and get into good defensive positions. However, if we are losing too many tickets defending one flag - thats when Lee's call to move to attack will come into play.
Hope the above makes sense.
