We might need to wait and see what happens with the DGC and the league next year. BF4 after the last patch (and over a year) is actually now quite a good game. I can see myself still playing it for a while unless the clan moves onto something else then i will join in

I feel the same way Paul. I'm enjoying BF4 at the moment and will be playing it for some time still.
The biggest thing we need to be wary of is that we don't know what the dedicated PC server situation looks like. This is a big concern as Peer to Peer matchmaking and hosting is drivel and we need dedicated servers for an MP title. Hasn't been announced and for me thats the decider actually.

+While a lot guys say that "its the same old COD", obviously it will have the killstreaks and the crazy camo and the plethora of weapons. Thats a flavour of the whole series. Thats like saying every Battlefield is same old same old because of vehicles. +Then there is the futuristic era. While I am not the biggest fan of it, the fact that its NOT a modern day shooter (like the past 6 or 7 FPS') is AMAZING. Titanfall tried but I won't go into that.. This looks like a better bit of gunplay and not too many frikkin laz0rz. +The movement aspect. With the introduction of the exo-suit, you can do all sorts of shit. Its kinda like the Crysis style suits and add a new dimension to the series. Double jumping, longer jumping, dodging... Its a great change to the standard dolphin diving/bunny hopping and is something that always had me by the goons with arena shooters.. which leads me to the next point.. +The arena style of it all. Long live arena shooters. While we are all obviously getting old and slow with reaction times, I cut my teeth on arena shooters and will always be close to me. The fast paced, twitchy, flickshot, skillshot goodness is awesome. It won't work the 99 times, but the 1 time it does.. hnnnng. Its like that perfect golf shot. +The backing of the franchise. While other arena shooters and FPS titles that are around the corner are exciting (UT4, Toxxikk), they just don't have the rep to get the big numbers. More players = more playability. The smaller FPS' have always died after 1 or 2 months due to dwindling numbers. As this is COD, it may have legs.
BUT LIKE I SAID DO NOT GO PREORDER NOT THAT YOU WILL. I AM JUST STATING MY OPINION ON THIS ALL. THIS IS NOT ANOTHER HAHA PH4TSO SAID BUY IT THING. I WANT DISCUSSION FFS.
