No seriously, you deduce that from just reading my posts?

But yes, I am the first to agree that I am cautious by nature and that risk assessment (in one way or another) has been part of my career for close to 20 years. Saying that, I also understand the concept of risk and reward very well which is why I am asking the questions what rewards are you looking for in life, if it is just a comfortable life style and a nice holiday once in a while doing something you enjoy then you do not necessarily need to take on all the risks associated with a start up company as you could get those rewards in a corporate environment too.

Any event, Fire, good luck with your decision and please feel free to shout if you need any more sage advice. (I mean, have you seen Tyger's deduction powers, holy crap, he came to the conclusion that I am by nature very much risk averse and he did that by merely reading two of my posts!)

Just an update for you guys:

Thanks to the amazing awesomeness of the Grrr family some good things have been happening the past few weeks.

Long story short, I've gotten a job offer at an amazing company with much better everything. I'll be starting within a few months, also I'd be moving to Durbanville (probably) or somewhere in that area. Easier to irritate all of the CT Grrrs!

Nice one mate, excellent news.

Don't forget your own business idea though, this could be a great opportunity to start working on it part time...

Thanks guys!

That's the idea, my new work will bring some stability (and a ton of actual valuable experience and training) and much less stress . In my part time I can help out my mate and get the ball rolling.

I feel like I'm about to start building towards a great future.
