All in all we didn't do too bad at Hainan hey, we were completely unprepared and haven't practiced vehicles at all. Still won one round. We were better at it than we were at Zavod (imo)

Numbzy and Atomic can I ask you two to run the prac tonight, please just go over what you guys think should be done on Zavod. This map is going to come up all the time so we need to figure it out.
I will set up the server to just have Zavod running and I will change the password but to grrr04n

My 2c:
Locker was awesome, felt good to win a map wp gents.
Zavod: Their chopper would literally spawn and make a beeline straight for our back flag every time. The amount of time spent trying to defend the back flag definitely cost us here (not sure how to counter this, possibly making a mooe for their back flag when we see they have a full squad at ours?). Engineer squad, i did hear a couple of shouts about c4 people behind us, but for the most part it was just Paul and I alone with the tank. The rest of the engi squad needs to help protect us, at 1 point i was repping with Paul in the tank and TCR had the time to c4 both of us.
Resort: We did quite well on this map, but i think leaving their back flag alone can cost us sometimes. On numerous occasions we had a jet, a chopper and an lav assaulting our back flag. It is nearly impossible to defend the flag with that onslaught. Maybe if infantry squad has B locked up, 2 can stay at B and make a run for their back flag to help create some space.
Also, the squads are not full, their is 1 spot available in each of them. If infantry squad or armour squad need urgent help from someone in the other squad, they could quickly jump into that squad to spawn to help defend or attack and then move back into your designated squad. Maybe this will help us be a little more dynamic.

If you watched how SB played against finland zavod is not that hard.
Put you main effort into taking and keeping the two middle flags.
Cap your back flag. If they make a big push for your back flag, immediately push their back flag.
Don't wast effort trying to hold it.
Key here is rotating the flags.
Especially with a 4 flag map.
They push this one where you weak.
Push the flag they are now weak at.
Edit:
Also if the artillary is allowed. Make sure you neutralizer it every time it spawns. Its very effective in keeping the tank under pressure, and flags you hold.
Aslo don't just discard your transport choper. Use it! being able to get to your back flag or theirs quickly is very important.

^^ Very good points indeed. The thing is, how many gaiz are we gonna allow to push for D or A. We need a substantial amount of players to defend B & C..

Answer is 2. With a third, when needed.

I think the trick is to be dynamic Russian. The second we see 3 people at our back flag we abandon and push their back flag, or help infantry cap B and C if we don't have it already. Maybe 1 person keeps them busy at our back flag to give them the impression we are trying to defend it. Leaving B on locker if you cant cap it works like a charm, and the reason why it works is because 9 times out of 10 their is a whole squad defending it. If you have A and C they are boxed in and cant do shit. If they push their back flag hard with both squads we cap B back. We need to find a way of adding that dynamic to the other maps we play.

The thing is with being dynamic is I think we not there yet in a sense to be Dynamic. I think we need to first get structured with the strats QB just showed. We stick to 3 on B and 3 on C. And 2 to push. The thing is if you make sure you have 2 flags, in this case B & C then you guaranteed not to bleed tickets. If the 2 man push works great, if not those 2 that constantly push need to try and be Dynamic and maybe go for another flag. If we have a good defence on C & B flags they'l just waste tickets in trying to cap it and that will suit just as good as a ticket bleed. Just a thought

My view might be slightly different but this is how my previous clan was taught....
Your first flag outside uncap is your second base, you don't just "let them cap it". We were taught to hold a line, not create one that bends and flows according to how the enemy moves.Holding two flags and keeping the enemies attack coming from a single direction is much easier to defend than being attacked from all sides.
So in summary my advice, hold back flag at all costs, keep enemy in a single direction. Create solid lines of defense.... being dynamic is good, but too much will create a bunch of headless chickens imho.... luvies xo xo
