Before we all signup for this, is this mailbox susceptible to spam? Its going to be advertised quite widely...

shouldn't be - there's a BOT filter - SpamAssassin and Anti-Virus

besides, if you start getting spam, we can remove you from the list - easy peezy

Ok the latest version of procon works fine to configure the server.

I have enabled the basic plugins that come with.
That being server info, In game admin commands, and spam bot.
The spam bot is set to spam a welcome msg and gives out our website address every 5 mins.

The extra plugins for ping kicking, team balancing and so on are not yet available for bf4, but apparently will be very soon.

I then added all the obliteration maps and all the rush maps to the map list which already had all the conquest large maps in it.

I left all the gameplay setting as standard... although my hand got very itchy about clicking the 3d spotting tick box off But that for another time.

New procon has presets that can be saved.So we can configure the clan setting and the public setting and switch between them quick and easy when needed.

Setting slots, we can change the number of spectators and turn commander on and off. I left it as is for now.
Down the line we might want to make a list of reserved spectator slots which can be done.

While I pull my hair out trying to sort things out with Procon, our server is flying guys. BUT, we do need active admins. We needed them yesterday afternoon already.

Dryman and Eggman have put their names forward so far, what do you guys say in terms of allowing them Procon access?

We need someone that plays a LOT.. Like midday on a Wednesday. Dryman fits that profile.
We also need someone with a good history of adminning. Eggman fits that profile.

Discuss?

Yes i agree those two guys would make good admins. Eggman has shown in past that he is a good one.

So if you fine with that we should give them access. ASAP
