Lee, given that Ass have now lost his tickets, I somehow don't think we will struggle to sell the one ticket left between the two of us.

Spoke to Russian, he doesn't have interwebs access @ work, but will confirm this afternoon as soon as he gets home hows ticket he is taking

iTickets are ridiculous, I am now nervous that my tickets that I have printed will be invalid

This is the email I got from them today, I am hope that this email relates to one of the many failed attempts to try get tickets on Saturday before it actually worked

Dear Paul du Plessis,

This is a friendly reminder that you placed a pending order with iTickets for "NAG LAN @ rAge 2013 ".

Your pending order: 4486266

Your tickets ordered:
2 NAG LAN Ticket
Total: 2

Your amount due: R800.00

It seems we have not yet been able to process your order.

If you have already made your payment, please reply to this email and attach your proof of payment. Remember, you have to use 4486266 as the reference on your payment or you will probably not receive your tickets.

If we do not receive a confirmation of payment from you with the week, your pending order will automatically be cancelled. You are always welcome to place a new order at your leisure.

Have you already made your payment?
Due to the delay in bank-TO-bank transfers, you may have received this reminder unnecessarily and will receive your tickets shortly.

If you received this pending order and did in fact make a payment over the weekend, please allow 2-3 working days for your payment to reflect on the bank statements and for your order to be processed.

Hi iTicket, have you guys never in your life sold any tickets before to anything more than a handful of Christian church goers? This NAG Lan ticketing system of yours was a serious joke to say the least. As you most likely are fully aware, at 09:00 when the tickets for the event went on sale, your server could not handle the load. From my understanding, this event was not even that big, a mere 2000 odd tickets or something, yet your server was not able to handle the load. Disgusting to say the least.

Despite the lack of effort on your side, me and my fiancé both managed to buy 2 tickets each after several failed attempts. The reference on the two sets of tickets are: 5194276 and 5194481 thus providing me a total of 4 tickets. I have printed all four tickets and whether or not you have sorted out your systems in order to debit my credit card or not, I honestly don't care as these tickets that are in my hand are legitimate tickets and I will be using them when the event commences. As such, may I suggest you ensure that both the above two reference orders was correctly processed.

Your service to date has been totally unprofessional to say the least. Now please confirm if the above two references, i.e. 5194276 and 5194481 is 100% correct and if not, what you will do to ensure that it is sorted out.

Your lack of incompetence has yet to cease amazing me.

Yours utterly disgusted.

I agree with Lee, I know I for one had about 10 browsers open hitting that site every 3 seconds with a new request and only stopped when I've received my "printed" tickets. I have received about 3 of the above emails with different reference numbers, so what I think was happening, between certain steps the server was "reserving" the tickets before moving on to the payment screen. When the payment screen frozes, it still held the reserved ticket in memory but when the payment did not commence, it never released the reserved tickets back into memory. This is a poorly designed solution.

Any event, I am going to rAge and I am using the tickets that I've printed.

I like the language used in your email, but you might have tied yourself in a knot here mate :) . Unless you meant to tell them that they are so competent that you are still amazed?
