Ok people are we entering a team or not?

I think Lee needs to appoint a captain and vice and then they can enter the people who have said they are keen. My only word of advice is that if we are going to do this it must be done properly or not at all.

Otherwise if we go in half-baked then we will get creamed and mid-season everyone will want to bail and that will be terrible for moral.

Something to consider, if we register by the 13th we keep our seeding from last year which mean we will most probably start in first division, we all know how tough first and premier division are so we will need to hit the ground running.

However if we register between 14th and 20th then we lose our rank and will start in the lowest division. This might be an option considering the changes in the team and leadership. I don't like going backwards but I also don't want to get pummelled by 1st Div teams will we sort out and find out feet. For example even though the team consist of like 70% of the old team, the structure will changes with a whole mix up between infantry and armour

Ok so lets just get a list of guys who are gonna play.

This is unconditional play people. So no i will play but only if...blah blah stuff.

We need to know numbers now.

Personally i dont want to loose our rank so, we must register by sunday.

I asked earlier for a right up so we could recruit..nothing been done.

i am gonna make a post on Do forums asking for more recruits.

Well there doesn't have to be a structure change in terms of infantry and armour, I just suggested it because its been talked about before. The quicker we get a new captain the quicker we can get practices going and start to iron this sort of thing out. From what I can tell we have 11 so lets enter the team, we can always make adjustments as need be. I agree with Paul though, we need to move fast 1st Div is not forgiving some tough customers there:

Hubris I honestly don't mind being the armour whore in our team, we just need to find the spanner monkey of note that I was.

I'm here to do whatever needs to be done in the team. As always, this is my busiest time of year at work, and as of tomorrow, I'm actually working night shifts (starting 7pm til the wee hours of the morning). Hopefully this wont last long, but my attendance at prac may be limited. I'm quite happy to do grunt work like spanner monkeying etc or just provide opfor at pracs.

we've spoke about this more or less generally, perhaps we need to have an admin meeting soon now that we are starting to see the trickle of people returning from the holiday season and may be more available for discussions and moving us forward.
