Jacket and patches idea is fantastic... epic suggestion. If we can scoop up some Soviet Russia style jackets with lappels and find a master seamstress to do badging... We're definitely not going to find those things easily, as quality is the name of the game, but if we don't rush it this could be an amazing way to generate clan spirit. Imagine being handed your grrr jacket and tags at your first grrr braai, what a feeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeling!

Only time I envisage myself wearing a hoody is if I need to acquire a set of hubcaps during the night.
Hubcaps that could still be attached to a tyre.
A-tyre! Get it? Rage attire/a-tyre?

jakets sound like a good idea, or maybe just a tracksuit top kinda jacket or hoody.

But how about something for those intimate times with your lady friend and you want show off your clan affinity.
grrr underpants

yeah, agreed tygi, my grrr jammies are now rags for my paintball stuff they are so worn. ;)

I like the hoodie idea, all the T's I've been doing have been cheap, thus affordable, lets see what the alternatives are :D

while the fashion conscience people is searching for a cool jacket (because if it is left to me I'll get us something from an army surplus store)... may I kindly ask that you be on the lookout for a trenchcoat too... refer to my "Wanted" tread on this....

Hubris, enthusiasm about the jacket struck a cord with me. It would be very unique to have a jacket. with patches/awards and could be very cool to own.

Hubris, WRT seamstress... I recently took up the art of learning how to convert JPG's or BMP's into a format that a sewing machine can understand. It is a very time consuming endavour, but if Lee is prepare to make the labels / badges / etc, then I will offer my services to digitize them. Lee and myself will obviously need to communicate, since there are various restrictions to sewing which one does not have with JPGs. But once the image is digitize, then it could be worked out on pretty much any high end sewing machine either directly onto a jacket, or into a badge and then attached to the jacket. Normally, to digitize an image from JPG to sewing-language will cost you a good couple of hundred rands, so we could save a little bit on that.

awesome thanks for the offer of vectoring.

Re the costing of badges I have had a couple made up for our MA Dojo. Dual colour will cost about R15 - 20 rand per badge.

I could get quotes when we get final designs.
