Phatso I suggest we have a morning and Afternoon pick up, invariably we will all meet on Friday, I assume in the afternoon some time and then we can then re-organise into the right cars for the relevant destination

I am only about 15 mins from the airport, so no problem making 2 trips if necessary.

Hasn't anyone told you, we've organized a special Mitchels Plain taxi ride for you to your destination... please note you will be required to provide your own ammo for the trip...

On a more serious note, I was just refering to taking Fly and Shadey and Lep to their lodging destination, which is far from jonny, so I assumed you would be handled seperately. I only took note Fly as he is staying at my spot and who was staying at Jarrod.

If there is a lack of accomodation for Nomad and Hubris... I have another room with a double bed spare they can share

I have a couch that at the moment is on standby for the Gravinator. If he does not make it, it will be offered to those in need.
I can also do airport pickups, let me know if you need a ride.

Jolling, my uncle has a really nice place which I'm sure we can stay at in Long Street, will make a call tomorrow to confirm.

Please will someone share the directions/times for activities? Might be better to look for accommodation closer to those?

I'm taking leave Friday so should be able to lift the pplz.

Getting very excited, for the end of the month – I may even take off the Friday as well.

I have confirmed 16 places for Karting @ 14:00. We need to pay up front but I will talk to Jarrod about the slush fund and see if we can use that and then collect monies later.

Unfortunately LaserQuest has closed down, so I enquired about Tenpin Bowling (www.letsgobowling.co.za) they do a corporate event and could accommodate us at 11:00. We could arrange platters and drinks as well. Let me know what you think and I will investigate further and select a cool package for us. If I am correct they even have a bar there… so we could do eleven o’clock shooter forfeits, chosen by people who make the strike.

So in terms of an agenda (OMG – he’s project managing this!!!) I was thinking that we look at the following:

09:00 – Breakfast at Green’s or Jonkershuis (Groot Constantia) – for all that can make it! Fireplace is a must but I will need to book if people are interested – COST=R100
11:00 – Tenpin bowling at Stadium on Main (Claremont) – COST = R80 (two games)
12:00 – Platters at the bowling alley – COST = R80
14:00 – Karting in Kenilworth (need to be fairly sober for this one) – COST = R145
16:00 – Sports at someone’s house (Jarrod, mine, Denis…DSTV a must). Or just kick back and socialise. – COST = Nothing
19:00 – Hearty meal in Long street/obs/town. We need to decide where, so that I can book – COST = R160

Total cost = R565 should do the trick. I think that Jarrod is also looking into the slush fund to see if it can sponsor some of our fun and games.

Or we can play it by ear and see how things turn out

OMG Daz you da MAN! I love it when people project manage social events, otherwise they can turn into total ball aches.

Personally I think the Breakfast will be optional. Chances are on the Friday night some people might go large and 9:00 might be to early or breakfast might not be on their mind especially if they are expelling the previous nights consumption

Let us know if we need to transfer money to pay for the upfront bits

People lodging with me might want to do breakfast closer to the bowling, since Stadium on Main is about 3 mins from my flat. Groot Constantia isn't exactly far away if people prefer to do the breakfast thing there though.

That's why I said for breakfast it would be best if everyone just wings it, I rate KFC for breakfast will be awesome
