Nope it is the 1.50 patch that is almost 2 GB as far as I remember

yes, definately 1.5, but there's a glitch (I did a fresh install recently).
You actually need to install 1.41 first and THEN install 1.5 -
I can't remember EXACTLY what the problem is, it's something to do with a missing file in patch1.5 that is only in the previous patches.
Doesn't effect everyone, I think it's something to do with hardware or something.
But for me, I was getting a black screen when launching BF2.
Once I re-installed for the 5th or 6th time and loaded 1.41 1st, followed by 1.5, it' lauched perfectly. \

will have to check if I have the latest patch at home.....
Really hope I have it as there is no-one near me to give me a copy.....
